JW Marriott - New Years Eve

Hi, I'm staying at the JW over New Years with my husband and and 16/19 year old kids. I just learned that the hotel does not provide coffee makers in the rooms. We can't live without one! I know this is a simple pleasure, and I have requested one (supposedly you can do so but may not get it). If we don't will I really have to travel to Walmart as I have read other people have done?

Also, any NYE suggestions are welcome. We really don't want to attend any expensive parties but would like somewhere fun and reasonable to celebrate.

I would recommend buying a four cup coffee maker and bring it with you. Just bubblewrap it and should be okay. We live here now but prior to that, I would always bring one down-plus of course your favorite coffee-filters-packets of sugar and creamer if needed. My husband cannot live without coffee plus he is an early riser(6 am or before)

If the hotel doesn't provide a coffee maker then buy your own one.
