I don't know where that hotel is and its not listed on the map. But you could find what hotel is close to it and judge from that. The "Hotel/Party" zone is up around the Convention center on this map. http://www.cancun101.com/images/hotelmap.gif . Hope this helps you.

It is pretty far, it is probably closer to Playa Del Carmen, than Cancun. It is about a $25 US cab ride. You can probably catch a $2 Colectivo down to playa, if you go out to the highway. I stayed at El Dorado Royal, right by Excellence and it kinda sucked being so far from everything, I don't think I would stay in Puerto Morels again.

i've stayed at excellence and el dorado royale...both awesome resorts! and both are more geared toward couples and honeymooners...neither good places for partying 20 yr olds!! shoulda booked them in cancun! excellence, when i was there in 2005 and 2006 was very quiet, laid back, romantic....i didnt see ANY singles there at all. same with el dorado in 2007. maybe they've changed in the past couple of years?!?! good luck with that! you could always book them on the club hopper tour....but they might not come back! LOL

Excellence riviera is located just a bit north of Puerto Morelos - it will be about a $35 to $40 taxi ride(and about a 25 minute ride) from there into the HZ where the clubs are located.

Here is a map showing the exact location of the resort - where you see the word "Cancun" on this map is the Cancun Hotel Zone and also where almost all the hot clubs are located. ![]() All the information I provided you in a previous post is still accurate. You can arrange for deep sea fishing in either Puerto Morelos(10 min south of your resort) or Play del Carmen(30 min south of your resort) | |
