Searching for a place like Temptation, but with beautiful beach

I went to Temptation last week and I had great time, except for the beach.

I will go back soon to Cancun but I'm searching a place like Temptation with friendly open mind people, but with a beautiful beach where you can swim further in shallow water and take long walk on the beach.

I'm not too familiar with the new beaches.... because they just completed a beach restoration project, repairing the damage of the last few years of hurricanes.

However, I know Golden Parnassus has a beautiful beach! You won't find the sexy games poolside and its slightly more calm.... but it is topless. Tequila volleyball is always a blast and they do have games, shows, and nightly entertainment. The tiki bar can get freaky at night as well.


also, isla mujeres was very nice! I couldnt believe how far out from shore we could go and still only be knee or thigh deep! it was crazy!

The beach as Hammie states is amazing, but the waters on that side of the HZ is still very rough. Not calm like Temptations. And honestly, those are the only two "topless" resport that I know of in Cancun. Kind of have to pick your poison.

LOL...it was time for a change, and I actually got to go out this past weekend....Bulldog was actually alot of fun, and I got to celebrate my ENGAGEMENT!!!!

Tori, congrats on the engagement. Now, going back to the original post. People often talk about the water being "rough" on that part of the hotel zone (by GP), and by all means it i rougher than by temptation, but it is not bad.

The waves are rarely crazy enough that you can swim/walk through them to make it to the calm part. Many people, like myself actually prefer beaches like this, since you can play with the waves if you wish, or you can swim behind them and relax.

By the way I didn't know GP was a topless resort too

I would like to say though, that there was a drowing at the Marriott in the last two weeks and the lifeguard at the Royal Solaris wouldn't let anyone in the water today. It was vicious!!! So it really depends on the day, but I see more Red flags then not.

Yeah, Golden Parnassus is topless.... Great parnassus is only topless on the beach and in the adult pool on the 2nd(4th) floor.

Yeah, every year there had always been a red flag for the most part. I never noticed much of anything other than rocks(prior to dredging)... which were more like huge boulders anyway lol.... and went it was pretty nice, there was a current that brought me far to the right... but no undertows or anything. nothing unswimmable/unwalkable. As far as going out further where it is calm.... i am scared to! i guess i am scared a shark will eat me or something. i know i've seen eels or eel looking fish and hugeeeeee fish swim right near me in shallow water, i guess im scared of what i will find further out! lol. maybe if i had goggle and could do surveillance every few seconds i would do it! lol.

HammieJ, you have a much better chance to be attacked by a shark in the hotel zone itself than by one in the ocean! Specially with that pretty face of yours

LMAO, a bit of meat on ya? That means you will attract the bigger sharks! Some people refer to them time share people, the ones that get you to sign up for the tour, as sharks. And losesly speaking, a shark is someone looking to take advantage of an unsuspecting person.

ohhh haha gotcha! yeah those timeshare people suck! but i always pretend i dont speak english! lol. and i WISH someone would try to take advantage of me... lol I'll break out the Goju. hiyaa!! hah :P Or maybe slap them with Cocoa..... she's bigger than FiFi.
