No time shares through the link at the bottom of this page through USA Transfers. I have personnaly used them and they are very reliable and you wont find a cheaper private transfer. EDIT:Just clicked your link and see they are trying to match USA's price. I personally would use USA.

If there is one transportation company I would advise you to avoid that would be them. Their whole site is designed and written to mislead people into believing it is the official airport website. It is not, it's owned by a guy in Florida and nothing whatsoever to do with the airport in any official capacity. I dont know about you, but any business that tries to gain its customers by deception is not one I'd pay my good money to. The same guy owns cancunfuntours.com which is also deceptive and I'd avoid that site too. Far better to use a well respected honest company like USA Transfers, there's a link in my signature and a button at the bottom of the page that will take you right there.

No, USA Transfers aren't associated with timeshare in any way. If you put in a search "USA Transfers" you'll read of other peoples experiences with them.

USA Transfers is the best transfer company. It is the only one that we have ever used on our trips to Cancun. They are fast, reliable and dependable. If you want info on Cancun the drivers will talk to you about it, if you just want to be left alone they will do that too. And you cant beat the price for private transfers. They are well worth the little extra that you will pay to have a car to yourself.

The shared transfers are with Best Day, yeah they're fine. And you're right I wouldnt have them on the site if they weren't reputable. They're cheap because you'll be sharing with other people and dropping off at other hotels, private transfers are more expensive.

With USA it is $55 round trip in private van. No waiting on van to fill up or stopping at other hotels along the way to pick up or drop off others. Well worth the $55 to us, it lets us start our vacation that much sooner lol.

Even a cab ride from the airport is only $40-50. If you booked through a travel agent, the transfers should be included. The few times I've been there have been through an agent - and they have always had round trip transport included. Unfortunately, it's a charter bus that loads a whole bunch of people and stops at a few different resorts, so it takes a while. But they always have beer for sale on the bus... and they've always had useful information (especially for someone who's never been to mexico).

sounds like usa transer is the way to go. 2 people roundtrip for $55 total is much better than travelocity shuttle offering which is about $50/each roundtrip and it is on one of this multi-stop shuttles. does usa transfer wait inside with all the timeshare people or do they wait outside by the car? thanks all!!!

You'll find them right outside the exit from the airport. As soon as you hit daylight they'll be there. There are some 'authorised' transfer people inside the airport, just ignore them and keep on going. You'll recognise USA Transfers as they'll be holding a big sign with their logo.

Just got back and I would recommend using the private shuttle. Nothing "wrong" with the Best Day transfer but the extra $20 for the private shuttle is well worth it. With Best Day - you have to wait about 1/2 hour to board a shared shuttle and it takes an extra 20 minutes to get to your hotel (the omni for us) so you lose about and hour getting to your hotel. Then the return trip is 3 hours before your flight home. I remember leaving 2 hours the last few times with the private shuttle and having plenty of time at the airport to shop/eat. So all total it's about $20 cheaper but cost you about 2 hours of vacatin time. I got $200 to sit through a 2 hour time share presentation - you do the math

No NH I think he just is willing to use his time to get benefited by attending a timeshare sales pitch. Was probably at a hotel or something. There was a time share person in our lobby at the Flamingo and we got the welcome schpeel from her a basket of candy and some coupons, but after about 2 minutes of her I said my time is more valuable out in the sun then at a free breakfast and sales pitch. That was the end of it. If approched be firm and tell em NO CHANCE!

Sorry about the confussion. No time share pitch with Best Day. They will push you to sign up for your return trip when you get to the hotel so they get first shot at helping you book your excussions during your stay but they will definetely not take much of your time. I did the timeshare presentation offered through my hotel and got basically $250 worth of free food for about 3 hours of my time. I felt like that was a fair trade. I paid $34 for a shared shuttle and saved $21 compared to a private shuttle but it cost me 2 hours of my trip. Just trying to back up my reasoning for saying I would book the private shuttle in the future.

nh - remember this one rule. In the states - people are trying to sell you stuff all the time. Well in Cancun - people are trying to sell you something twice that much. The people at the hotel get something for sending you to a particular restaurant. Tour guys get money for getting you on an expensive tour. Taxi guys get money for taking you to a particular strip club. I would not think of timeshare people as being the enemy. They are just like everyone else - they are trying to sell . . you. Your time is one of the most valuable items in Cancun. Make sure they give you what you feel your time is worth and you will be all good.
