Book it.com, do I need my credit card to check in.

Booked my trip on Bookit.com, full and paid already just wondering if i will need my credit card to check in or what i will need.

Ive only used them once, and I needed mine at check in. It might depend on the hotel you book, but it wouldnt be bad to have it with you just incase! Print out your reservation as well, so you have that. You can always photocopy your CC if you dont want to physically have it with you.

I booked through bookit and I didn't need my card. Maybe it depends on the individual hotel policies?

I hope we don't need the cc we used to pay for the room a year ago....it has since been closed and long gone!

IF you need a credit card at all (which I'm thinking you probably won't), I don't think you'd have to use the same one.

We booked thru expedia and did not have to shop credit card when we checked in.

I never use those internet sites. I always use my travel agent for all this stuff. After all it doesn't really cost any more contrary to popualr opinion. At least not with my agent. I am not going to use some internet site that doesn't give a flip about me personlly when I can have a real human I can talk to looking after me. My agent has gotten me out of hot water more than one time. After yu get burned a few times you will learn as I did. Most all hotels these days make you lay down a credit card or or something..to protect themselves in case you skip out on them. You can get prepaid debit cards also, but never, ever use your regular checking debit card NEVER. My agent taught me that.
