okay so we are going to the barcelo costa cancun sep 1-8 2010 and was just wondering what their all inclusie means. I know we get to eat at the buffet resturants and drink beer. But what about mixed drinks. Are those included, are there stipulations on what you can have. also i read some reviews that said that you get the mini bar stocked in your room daily and it's all included with the all inclusive plan, however I also read that it's free one time after that you are charged for the stuff. Just need some info from someone who has been there sone that. you know!! BTW it would also help if you have been there recently...(last year or two) that way the info is more accurate. Thanks so much for any help you guys can give!!!

All Inclusive pacage at barcelo costa cancun includes All alcohol in the entire hotel is included. Everything...beer, shots, mixed drinks, drinks in your room. Everything. There's only ONE buffet restaurant, the other ones are waiter type restaurants, which you need to make reservations. They are all included in the package. We're going back next month. Don't worry, you've made a good choice in hotel. have fun. Last edited by sincero5; 07-12-2010 at 06:54 PM.

Yes, We're going next month. We considered other hotels, but our last experience with Barcelo Costa Cancun was so nice that we didn't want to risk being disappointed elsewhere.

Make sure you sign up at the front desk for a day pass at the sister resort, Barcelo Tucancun Beach. You can eat and drink at the other property for a day and have a change of scenery at no extra cost(better beach).

The Barcelo, is a great bang for bucker. I stayed there this past july for 7 days. The only extra charge is for lobster and gifts. The buffet is kinda eh, but the restaurants are very good. The drinks arn't bad either, The mexico is a good shot on the beach. Lot's of fun people were there when we went in july!

The only time you will need to spend money at the hotel is if you get your laundry done, use the internet ($10.00/hr), order lobster, buy gifts, and tip. You can clean out the mini bar of snacks and drinks every night and it will not cost you extra. We used to take all the Modelo out of the mini bar and give to the bartender in the lobby to keep cold for us. We did that because the Hotel only serves Corona. When we went in July '07 there were many families, this time in August there were many young singles. The buffet is very good but repetitive. They did have a Mexican Night and a Chinese night at the Buffet restaurant. The other three restaurants are great. The meals are creative and delicious. Would highly, highly recommend this hotel to all.
