|  Over 40 nightlife Is there any over 40 spots? We own a condo in Cancun, KM 4, and have been wondering this for years. |

| First let me tell you guys that I'm 55 and enjoy the eclectic environment that Cancun offers. I have been there 8 times in a 5 year period. There are some jazz clubs in the downtown area. I have not been but I heard they were nice. There is also a few karaoke clubs that do oldies as well downtown.

| Well, it really depends on what you are into. If you like nightclubs then by all means, hit the big ones in the hotel zone, age doesn't really matter. If that kind of music doesn't float your boat, there are other quieter options, mostly downtown. -Roots Jazz Club (downtown) -Pancho & Willy's (near Captain's Cove in the hotel zone), live music and karaoke -Yesterday (downtown) 80's music, GREAT band on the weekends -Anywhere on Yaxchilan. The bars on Yax are more like "taverns" than dance clubs (though there are some dance clubs too). Popular choices are La Taberna or Los Arcos -Marakame (downtown) A lovely little spot, twinkly lights in the trees. It's a restaurant, but I have gone there a couple of times to chill and share a bottle of wine with friends in an elegant setting

| I'm 47 years old and love going to all of the dance clubs in the Hotel zone. Age is totally irrelevant here as I have seen plenty of people in their 40's and 50's dancing the night away. The best clubs (in my humble opinion) are: The City, Daddy O, SWEET, and ROO |

| What the hell is "Over 40 nightlife?" I'm 40, and the only places I dont want to go is teenie bopper places. If you like current music and like to have fun, you can go anywhere. If you mean BORING, stay home and watch the lifetime channel. |
