Hi all, can someone give me an update on the current weather conditions in Cancun please. All the weather Forecasts seem to be saying that it rains every day there!! Is this true? I am arriving in Cancun on July 15th for 2 weeks and am really looking forward to just lazing about in the Sun Thanks

| At the moment it is 86 F and feels like 95. It sprinkled very lightly for 2 minutes today, Not even enough to turn on the wipers. We have had some downpours in the last couple of weeks but it is not all day, everyday kind of rains on a normal day. I am going to Cozumel tomorrow and not worried about the rain. Now where did I put that umbrella?

I just returned from 2 weeks there. The weather was nice for all but 4 days...those 4 days were miserable! But, can't complain, 4 out of 14 ain't bad!

Weather is pretty crap right now. Been raining off and on most of the day (Saturday 25 June). June is the wettest month of the year though, so it's not totally unexpected. The storm is moving away though and weather will be Ok tomorrow probably

Weather is supposed ( I say that loosely) to be crappy for the next two days. All reports don't agree...they never do. After that it goes back down to the 60% chance of rain, which here means a possible brief shower.

Sounds exaggerated to me. We've had periods of wind, and heavy rain, for the last 36 hours. It's beginning to dissipate, now. As for "flooding", a number of streets in Cancun Centro do not drain well, and any time it rains more than just a little, traffic flow can be affected. The HZ is high, and dry, in this respect. Can't imagine any resorts here closing for rain....
