So I'm leaving tomorrow morning for cancun (Woohoo!!!), and was just thinking about how to carry things on the tours that we are going on. Like if we are going to Xel ha...would you bring a tote bag with towels and sunscreen and then leave it on the beach when you go snorkeling?? I'm just concerned, since I've heard so much about sketchy people in Cancun. Let me know what you all have done before.

I think you are listening to alot of hear say! I grew up going to the Jersey beaches...wouldn't leave my stuff out there for ppl to help themselves to. You can't trust any one in the world now-a-days. But while on an excursion, especially places like Xel-Ha and Xcaret, they provide lockers. No need to carry any thing around. And they also give you towels.
