| While at the Flamingo, we saw dozens of sea turtles that had just hatched head down to the water! I guess this is a regular occurance there. Best part of the vacation! ![]()

| This is indeed a regular occurance this time of the year all over the hotel zone. If you go early July you can see the turtles lay their eggs late at night. |

| There are still turtles coming up to lay eggs - just not a lot of them. It is the end of the laying season now. Last night there were 12 nests down by us that were hatched, but didn't see any mama turtles come up to lay eggs. The night before there were 2 that came up to lay eggs. |
