Default XEL-HA Questions

I am looking at doing this exursion. I was wondering if they allow you to feed the fish corn on the cob while snorkeling? I have done that in the past in Aruba and was successful at luring several fish around me.

In several pics on tripadvisior, it looks like there are more variety of animals seen when you snuba. Do you see the stingrays, baracuda's etc when you snorkel? I did read the comment to snorkel first in order to see the most fish.

Do they charge to take pictures with the birds?

They have a large inlet which is a large inlet connection to the oceon this is where you will do free scuba as its connected to the oceon allot of sea life swims in a saw a few rays, a baracuda but mainly its full of tropical coloured fish, cudnt name any as im no expert but theres no problem finding them mainly around the edges where its shallow and rocky. Regarding feeding them im not too sure but i did notice dotted around the park they have machines which give you free fish pelets to throw in. You can pay additional for the other activities and i believe options for snuba are dolphin and sting ray encounter. Its a good day out which i really reccomend

Xel ha is a really nice place to visit. I dont think anyone will stop you from feeding the fish - as Trigger says though there are fish food dispensers around.

The main lagoon is about 8 feet deep max, you'll see plenty of colourful fish but probably not anything awe inspiring.

Go by the floating bridge and snorkel around and under that, you'll see some huge fish with big teeth, probably some nice size rays too The water is deeper there (14-20 feet), deeper still beyond the bridge which is where they do the snuba or diving.

You cant free swim on that side of the bridge, but basically the deeper the better.
