im looking to go snorkeling but someone told me to the xplor tour you do a lot there they said is that true. and is it better to book it down in Cancun or book it early i also would like transportation there and back any suggestion

Xplor does offer some snorkeling but it is in the underground river, not the ocean. So if you want to see marine life you'd need to find somewhere else to snorkel.

The best snorkel trip in the area imho is at Puerto Morelos:
