Spring Break Crowd.....

We have been going to Cancun for several years. We stay at the Royal Sands and we love it. We take our 4 boys with us. Normally we go the first week or two in February when the kids are out of school for presidents week. However this year their school decided to cancel the president week vacation. We love going that week because it never seemed very crowded at the hotel our anywhere in Cancun.

So this year we are thinking about going on their spring break. The dates are March 17th thru the 24th..... Will it be crowded that week? I am worried about the spring breakers and it being real crowded...... My boys are still young and not old enough to party. We like it when it is quiet and not corwded. Thanks guys and gals.

We have a place in Cancun and always stay away from there during Spring Break. To me it's not a real good environment for a family. Way way to crowded as well.

A lot of hotels do not allow people under a certain age check in without a true adult present. And I am thinking the Sands is one that has a VERY tame SB.... really the only crazy hotels in recent times are the Oasis and now The Crystal. Cancun has lost a lot of steam in the SB scene. Nothing like it was in the 90's. During the day all the Breakers are either sleeping or drinking a lot at the Party hotels. At night they are at the nightclubs. Chances are, you won't see them.
Last year I noticed ALOT of seniors here in March, same time as SB. I would;t worry about it at all.

As long as you spend your time at the hotel, you will be fine, not too many breakers staying there.

You can still go out of the hotel. They aren't going to the restaurants, excursions or places like La Isla. Nobody at anytime should just stay at the hotel......boooooring!!!!!! Come down and see for yourself.
