In the morning we have a strong wind from the north and (for us "the locals") cold weather with many clouds in the sky and high tide, at noon the sky got clear, the sun came out and the wind stop blowing, the ocean remain not very friendly and warm mood arrive. Now at 12:35 PM local time the wind is very soft and fresh, the ocean is not so rude and almost quiet and the stars are shinning. Full Moon------ Great view of the ocean

Wind from the north increase, high tea and hundred of white waves color the sea, the port was closed today to cross to PDC or Isla Mujeres. The temperature at 8:55 PM is 65 F. The sky remains cloudy with few quickly sun images.
Ocean is warm pools are cold.

Today we still have a north but less strong, the port was open and you can see again bananas, wave runers, etc. still a lot of waves and wind.

A little bit warmer than yesterday 72 F and with more sun time and less clouds.

After a lot of rain on the last day of 2004. The 3 days of the recently new 2005 have been dry with strong Southeast wind and high seas, cloudy and fresh air at night.

Beautiful sunrise, some puffy clouds passing through Isla Mujeres, wins blowing from the SE. The ocean has some white crests but it remain warm. The sun is shinning and is aperect day for a great tan because with the wind yo do not feel so suffocating.

The forecast on the TV only goes as far as Friday at the moment, and it's showing scattered showers for Wed and Fri. This is from the tourist channel rather than the local news though. I'll see if I can spot it on the local news later.

Today's weather is similar to yesterday, temperature at 4pm is 80F. A few clouds in the sky but nothing too sinister.

It has been a vey very windy day, the ocean look green because of the wind and the lagoon changing waterr, right now at mid night we are 72° F. and it feels cooler due to the cold wind.

Still chilly at night (got down to 18C / 64F last night) today was bright and sunny but clouded over in the afternoon - temps only up to 24.6C or 76.3F).

Temps are expected to pick up again from tomorrow.

After 2 weeks of norths & chilly winds today the weather was awsome, an average of 80° with a sunny and clear sky, smooth and friendly ocean and not wind at all.

What is the average surf temperature this time of year? We are heading down in February and wondering what to expect?

I would ask about the pool temperature also, at the BBG, but I hear it can really heat up at times.... so to speak.

I would say that the average wthout the wind factor is 78 to 82°

No idea about the pool temperature but we (the locals) do not swim until may because we think the water is cold :roll:

We had an spectacular sun rise, orange and red coming out of the ocean at 6:05 AM, the ocean was very calm, almost like a pool and the pelicans were flying down to grab fishes from the water, it was kind of cold 72° , the sky was clear and the full moon was hanging opposite to the sun. What a view!!!!

Right now at 1:45 the weather is warm 81°, the ocean looks awesome, quite; like taking a rest from the last winds and the sky remain clear. Sun is shining and many boats, wave runners and parachutes are out.

I would like it too but......... NO

My children school start at 6:50 AM and it is in the middle form the HZ to the aiport and they like to bath in the morning so I wake up at 5:25 daily to wake them up and then shile they bath sit out side to see the ocean and the sky.
