| Forecast for Memorial Day Weekend I know we are 7 days before leaving and wanted to see what the forecast is. | It has been cloudy since yesterday afternoon. We did not have rain yesterday but this morning we receive little showers and the feeling of humidity "bochorno" like abig storm is aporaching. clouds are black and big and ocean still quiet but no so friendly.

| We are leaving Thursday morning and will be in the Riveria Mayan because Funjet overbooked us and had to move us to the Riu Yucatan. We actually get a 4n, 5d at any Riu free, so I will not be in Cancun this time BUT can return with the vouchers later. We were originally supposed to be at the Riu Caribe!!! Maybe next time!

| after a suny morning, sky got overcast again with some showers at the HZ. Wind is blowing from the NE (wired for this seasson as we should not receive cold fronts in the end of May) well this front bring a lot of clouds but nothing "cold" The humidity is HIGH and temp also.

| Weather change, it is more than overcast, also a lot of fog you can not even see Isla Mujeres, thunderstorm and strong wind from the NE. and it has been rainning STRONG for the last 45 minutes-

| I do not know about the beach condition, we participate last weekend on the swimming crossing from cancun to isla Mujeres and from 120 swimmers only 1 got sea lice but they were swimming in open waters. the forcast does not look very good for the weekend but you never know. Today is cloudy with high humidity ocean changing directión to the west and no wind blowing very soft from the NW.

| weather and sea lice Ana, Again thanks for all your updates. Great job on the swim - how far is that distance? Is there a way you could get informaiton if there has been any bad outbreaks of sea lice near the OMNI hotel? I would really appreciate it a lot. Or if anyone else has been their recently that would help too. Kathy - 15 more days until Paradise in Cancun at the OMNI. :lotsofmichaelf: :beergone:

| Kathy, I didn't mean to imply that you did offend anyone and wasn't only referring to your post..sorry if it came off that way. It's just that at times I think soem of the people who post here go overboard in asking the locals to find this or that for them. While none of them every complain about it I think it is important for all of us to remember that CC is not their job and they do have lives too. Just because they live in "paradise" doesn't mean they can run around finding out things for those of us who don't. Sorry if my post came of wrong and offended you. That was never my intention. karan

| I canīt see a cloud above the ocean trough my window. Ocean is wavy with that little white top here and there meanning rough. Wind is blowing med to strong from the NE and temp is hot.
