| Weather Come on how much more rain can fall!!!! Do you go on trip advisor message boards? Everyone is saying how horrible the weather. I donot want to be on vacation wearing the same clothes I am now LOL. It is so mild here in New york. It has to get better in Cancun. Where are you staying???

| We are staying at Riu Palace Las Americas. I checked the weather today on Intellecast. It is looking better......Yes, I check Trip Adviser, too.....same thing....bad weather stories on the RPLA reviews.....My husband is a new diver. We are going down there mainly to dive, and the waters have been so rough. Should we just say...a rainy day in Cancun is better than a sunny day in NY/WV.........Hmmm....It's not workin' for me :roll: .......I'll try to be optimistic! Good luck to both of us!!!!!!!  |

| Just left Cancun this afternoon. While I'm waiting in the airport I thought I would let everyone know it was a wonderful week. We had only sunshine and mid 80's all week. It rained one evening for 1 hour and that was it. Waters were warm 81 degrees. |

| Today we have a lot of sun during the day and a lot of ladies sun-bathing their body, soft wind from the NE and warm morning, at 5 the dky got black and a lot of rain fall in the city and the HZ. Now the stars are out and it seems as a clear sky but looking to what is going on I think that...... The cold front # 31 that is causing so much trouble to the north states of Mexico will arrive tomorrow noon to us bringing strong winds and quick gusts, high seas and strong showers.

| Rain? We picked Cancun as a long weekend b/c it is only supposed to rain a few days a month in the winter...is this highly unusual, or typical? We will be there 2/15-2/18...hope it clears up by then! |

| Great Saturday, sun shinning all day, ocean very friendly and showing all its blue and green colors, near 18 hours wind began to blow from the NE very strong and rain fall over the HZ for 2 to 3 hours. Sunday was not so amazing weather, lot of clouds, no rain (at the HZ) high sea and strong kind of cold wind.

| We are due to arrive at the end of march, what is normal weather for that time?? I have been watching the weather on accuweather and have seen that temps have been in the 70's. Is this normal for winter months there or has the arctic blasts affecting the US somewhat affecting the weather there? We are sure the weather will be warm at the end of march but now we are addicted to watching the weather there. Thanks |

| Today we have a "cold" morning followed by a beautifull sunrise that is shinning, ocean is in calm and a lot of people enjoying water sports and tanning. Some puffy white clouds hanging there, no wind and low humidity.

| Our recent weather experience I know the weather in cancun has been sorta strange the past few months. Here is what we experienced at the Dreams Resort - Cancun Tuesday 2/13- arrived late afteroon to 90's and sunshine! Could not get to the pool fast enough! Wednesday 2/14- mostly sunny and warm (not hot) Thursday 2/15- mostly sunny and warm (not hot) Friday 2/16- 100% cloudy, windy, rainy, chill in the air - stayed indoors Saturday 2/17- 90% clouds, a bit warmer though. We did go snorkeling but shivered as we came out of the water. Sunday 2/18- 80% clouds but VERY windy could not be at the beach as sand was blowing everywhere. All beach chairs brought to the pool area. most people stayed off the beach and covered with towels, only to uncover quickly when the sun to poke out. Monday 2/19- better, a little more sun but still about 50% clouds. Still everyone at the pool as the blowing sand was painful. Tuesday 2/20- wind felt warm, not cool. About 40% clouds. big improvement. My advice - you cannot change the weather so be prepared for anything. We did not pack enough "warm" clothing. Long sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, pants. Also, bring cards or travel sized games for the times it does rain. We had 3 kids with us, so going swimming or sight seeing in the rain is not fun. Some people may not be phased by poor weather. It did put a damper on a few days for us. |

| :roll: Not so good since Satuday, stong N to NE cold wind blowing all day due to the front cold, no showers or rain but the wind is pretty strong.

| It has been really, really nice lately. Hot but not too humid, really short shower yesterday morning but not a lot of rain at all recently, blue skies and nice breezes. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
