Hi Denise;

I thiink that we will have the same weather all the week, sunny, hot and great.

Today we have a soft wind from the north that feels great when you are under the sun.

I will be waiting your call.

It should be the same as now.

Thursday: Sunny, hot but with a lot of north wind blowing making the sensation not too hot and not to humid. Blue calm and friendly Ocean.

Default Trip In September?

Hey everybody... and hi Ana! I'm planning a trip to Cancun from Sep 25 to Oct 2. I know it's rainy season, should I expect to spend my entire week indoors or is it usually spotty showers with part of the day rainy and part sunny? There will be 3 of us (guys), is this a dull time to go (no tourists) because of the weather? We're staying at either the Royal Sands or Royal Islander, there's still time to cancel the trip if it is a bad idea. Thanks for any input! :?

Hi Shane;

It is not exactly rainy season, I will rather say that is risky and lucky season.

If there is not too much activity in the Caribbean and gulf of Mexico then we will not have any rain neither wind and be able to admire the most spectacular and clear nights at Cancun. But if there are a lot of Tropical Storms then we usually get heavy rain for 1 or 2 days plus strong winds.

It is not really a big issue.

Ana, thanks for such a quick reply! I really appreciate it! So are there still a lot of tourists that come during Sep and Oct? Are the beaches still busy?

Do not trust reports, I don't know why they put cloudy and rainy daily to Cancun, you can review this post and see that most of the days that were forecast with bad weather have been sunny and awsome

Hi Ana, I went to www.accuweather.com to look at the weather for August 4th to the 11th. It was very good news NO RAIN at least no severe longlasting rain. But anyways in accuweathers report it said " some sun" for the whole week. I am assuming that "some sun" in Mexico is a lot different then what it means in Ohio. Some sun here means you might see the sun for like an hour throughought the whole day LOL. So what do you think they mean be "some sun". Thanks LIZ

Hi Liz

I think some sun means you can easily get sun burn in less than an hour or as long as you want to be out side. Of course do not expect any of thier predictions to be very accurate. :wink:

Thursday;

Hot, sunny and clear bue sky until 3:00 PM (local time) when some clouds try to stay here and finaly decide to go away at 5:00 PM

The sun set today was undescreptiable :?: (hope my spelling is working) most of the sea was paint with orange and red, no waves at all, the two pirate ships in front of of our house and the refection just like in a mirror in th sea.

I was very lucky to see such a great sun-set. :wink:

Friday 30/07

Early morning was great, the sea again seems like a lagoon clear and smooth; not a single wave or nosie, It was out of this world.

Morning till 14:00 were hot, sunny and perfect beach days, then gray and black clouds cover the sky but did not drop a single drop. (still hot and humid)

Now (10 PM local time) I am about to have dinner at home with some friends and they told me that at DT is rain cat and dogs today; here at the HZ the ocean remain in calm, north wind blowing and stars & mosquitos are out again.

I hope the hot and humid weather stays. I just got out of the pool. I had 2 frogs join me, and 2 grasshoppers. I did not look under the skimmer cover. It has rained here all day. I knew there could be salamanders in the skimmer, so I did not open it. Oh the joys of having an in-ground pool. It's cold now. My pool water temperature read 76 degrees F. I had to get in there and swim. After a long stressful day, with my sick Grandma, I needed to relax. All is well with her now. And me, I am in my flannel pajamas, and a towel, on my head. Hair shouldn't take to long to dry. I got 2 1/2 inches cut off, yesterday. My Chicken Egg Foo Young, from the Chinese restaurant hit the spot. I can't believe I ate the whole thing--3 patties, steamed rice, 2 egg rolls, chicken rice soup, and 3/4 pot of ooh llang tea. Now I'm almost ready for bed.

Cancun I can hardly wait to be with you. I'm hoping you will stay hot. It hasn't been hot too much here. I'm going to keep praying for sun and heat. And look forward to Mexican Independence Day!!!!!!!

Thanks Liz,

At this night time all I see are all those lazer beams from the city as well as the pirate ship fight and of course turn every electronic device at my home off and just listen to the ocean....... :arrow:

After a cloudy and rainy Saturday and half morning Sunday , the sun went out again, the ocean looks calm and with all the blues in it, the north wind stop blowing and the sky is clear. :wink:

We had a great Sunday after 11:00 AM and everybody went out to snorkel, fishinig, the boats and wave running. :arrow:
