Hey all! We're from Colorado and coming to Cancun for the first time ever! Previous years we went to Panama City Beach and found an awesome forum for their spring break and this one looks pretty legit as well.

We have a lot of questions that maybe you guys could help with. We want to stay at Oasis but we are not sure which one? Also is the price for the room include all inclusive?

We would love to meet up and party with you all!

welcome to the boards!!!!! you should stay at Oasis Cancun or Grand Oasis... theres here the party is at... you will find tons of information on the threads mentioning Oasis... i think they are on the top of the page...

Sweet sounds good! What does "all inclusive" include? I am assuming food and drinks but how hefty do your tips have to be to get noticed? Also is there a van that goes from the hotel to the airport?

Do all the people on the forum hang out like the ones in Fl? I would love to meet you guys!

yeah all inclusive is all you can eat and all you can drink.

there are vans from the airport to the hotels, i took one last week and they charged somewhere around 10 bucks per person to get you there, its a shared van tho... they told me we could buy the "round trip" but we had the whole van for us so im not sure... i only paid one way... i guess the taxis from the hotel to the airport are a bit more expensive, i cant really tell..

ive never really been to any other destination for spring break so i dont know how they hang out in Fl hahahaha but yeah theres a bunch of us hanging together most of the time... specially the regulars on the forum...

The cc party is our annual meet up while on spring break. It's notorious for getting a little crazy sloppy and all around a kick ass time

You get food and drink but for getting drinks at the bar, you'll need to tip to get noticed. If you are going to the same bartender, instead of tipping per drink, give a big tip ($10) at the beginning of the day (first round) will ensure you have their attention for a long time.

There are share vans but I'm not too familiar with them. I do private transfers. In the last 3 years, I've always used http://entertainment-plus.net. Very realiable.

I don't know much about the PCB forum but people on cancuncare definitely hang out alot in Cancun . A group of us CC regulars go to Cancun together every year. And we hang out with new CCers as well as make new friends while on the trip. Some have so much fun hanging out with the regulars that they become regulars themselves. Check out

We hang out outside of Cancun as well. For my birthday back in July, about a dozen of CCers (from England, Canada, NY, CT, PA, TX, IN, MI, NV, etc) came to Chicago. http://www.hw711.com/birthday2009/pictures.html. Some of us also do smaller group trip throughout the year to visit each other. Just this past weekend, a handful of us went to San Diego together.

I went to PCB a few year ago for SB. It has nothing on Cancun.

It won't be decided till maybe a couple weeks beforehand. It's up to Steve, cancuncare owner, to decide when it's going to be. If I have to guess, if all the regulars go during the second week, it'll be 3/11. If half regulars go during the second week and half go during the third week, it'll be 3/13.

I can tell you both as a rookie this past year. One party with this group and you'll be hooked. I met them at the CC party IN Cancun, and after this past weekend I have now made 4 separate weekend trips to continue it. Your life will not be the same. There is one in Boston and NY too. My old boss is an investor of the NY one (hopefully he still is) so we can probably get a discount if we go there.

So what is a better option: staying at the Oasis(I hear it sucks at night) or staying somewhere else and then buying tickets to Oasis?

Oasis is the party spot during the day and very late at night when you get back from the club....I hate the hotel because it's gross, the workers there are awful and because our room was broken into and robbed. They did NOTHING about it.....save your money, go someplace else and get the day passes, you'll be alot happier

Dos Playas or NH Krystal....waiting to get word from my other friend going...

Ive stayed at both before, they are pretty close to eachother and Krystal is right outside of all the clubs, literally. They are inexpensive, which is all that matters to me as I don't spend much time IN the hotel itself anyway. It really is the best way to go as you save more money to do other things.
