|  Two weeks to Mexico!! Some Quetions!! Hey Everyone! Im travelling from Ireland in two weeks time for Spring Break in Cancun and a few pints in Cuba! It will be my first time to Mexico and i can't wait! I have booked into the Oasis for the first few days. I have a couple of questions if anyone can help me out? Has anyone stayed in the Holiday Inn? Is it any good location wise or would the criac be better in the Oasis? I keep reading that when you pay into a club the its a free bar with national drinks. Can you get vodka/whiskey and the likes? And finally whats the shopping Like in Cancun? Wasnt planning on bringing much luggage and getting everything over there! It would be great if someone can enlighten me! Neil P.S We will be in Cancun from the 23rd of March untill the 8th of April we will be easily spotted as we will be the palest people there and probably the drunkest :-) |

|  You could easily pack 10 days of shirts and a couple shorts. You can get clothes down there, but Cancun isn't like a typical mexican city. It's very touristy, so you might end up spending extra on clothes than you normally would. Just depends...

| Which holiday inn? Cancun Arenas? Cancun is very casual, pack your shorts and t-shirts, flip flops and sunglasses. Shopping can be expensive in the hotel/tourist zone. You can go downtown to Walmart. If you purchase the USD$40-50 Open Bar at the clubs, you can drink anything you want... vodka, tequila, whiskey, rum, gin, draft beer, etc.. the shot girls are extra, watch out for them.

| If you are talking Holiday Inn Arenas, or Any Holiday Inn for that matter, stay at Oasis. And you won't hear me say that EVER!!!!! The Holiday Inn is pretty far out from the Party Zone. And alot of Mexicans stay at them, so most of the staff do not speak English. They are not considered Party Hotels at all, so the craic will be 1000% better at the Oasis. |
