Party Packages? Get one or dont?

Im was lookin at the Student City Party Package. I have read it is a good idea to get one. However i feel like there is a huge downside which is that the club you go to is picked for you each night? Is the party package a good idea or no?

dont you have to book your vacation with them also? I have no idea though.. if you wanna meet different peole, you could do a party hopper tour?

party hoppers on spring break are a NO GO... thats only my opinion but really... two years ago it was just baaaaaaaaad

i have to agree with mormis about the party hopper. i've only done it once but it was like we were being herded from bar to bar which wasn't very fun

Idk though, if you and just a friend are going, it could be a good way to meet up with more people.. im sure you dont have to follow them to the next place if you like the first.. idk, I think im going to try it this year.. and try a booze cruise, ive never done either, and this will be my 3rd time!

i work for student city but i would go against the party package because usually the parties that they throw are overcrowded and sausage fest.

dont do the party hopper its a waste and your like shuttle in and out like a back of roaches

i usually meet up with some chicas down there and see what they are doing that night. not gonna lie i would go to the student city parties sometimes but end up leaving to a new venue later on that night. the best studentcity party i went to was like a 3 club pass for dady o's sweet and the after hours spot thats the only one i found worth it because the amount of people was spread to 3 different places and u can go in and out

My experience was good with the Party Hopper. Its only like 15USD extra for like 5 different venues. Yes the bus was a definite sausage fest, but once we went to the first bar, that all changed. I like it because it gives you options, like the third place was Senor Frogs, and I was having a great time so I just stayed and said "f" a party hopper. I'm sure you can always catch up with the group if you stay a little extra.

From what tgordon2191 said i think its worth it. You skip Ques and get a good atmosphere build up to the bigger clubs i'm guessing. Then as mentioned if you don't want to move on just ...don't.

I'm there 2 week so will try it at least once but i cant imagine it being so bad we wished we didn't.

Its responsible i suppose getting peoples opinions but i find i best to make your own.

That about skipping ques is not true... at all... for 2009 we had to wait a long time at senor frogs and had to literally be squeezed in... it was sooooo packed, and when we got to The City it was even worse... Andrew and me ended up going to Corona Bar instead... smh

But as you guys said, you can do whatever... i just strongly recommend not to haha

i did the booze cruise for 2010 with my boyfriend and hallie... it was actually a Boobs cruise.

but i sure am in... lets just make sure we do that on my day off lol

The booze cruise to the island was mediocre it got back at like 1:30 and then we hit up dady's for a killer night

The one i did was during the day and we had a lot of fun, except for the fact that i was totally tired from the day before...

Yeah, not only you are not guaranteed front of the line (remember you are being herded with a few hundred other people who are trying to get in too), you are not even guarateed to get in.

They scream at you and blow whistle in your face and rush you. It's not fun. Just ask the sheep.

Not sure what you are looking at but I'm only aware of one party hopper. Their website is probably just outdated. Either that or they invented time traveling but I highly doubt that considering they are still using whistles, 19th century technology, as main tool to run their business. Just wait til you are down there and there will be someone coming up to you every 2 seconds trying to sell you the package with the updated list of bars.

Are you sure? I met someone at Frogs who told me they were currently doing party hopper and was going to CocoBongo next. And I vaugely remember seeing a herd of people one night too.
