First week of March

Hey...
My friends I are going to cancun on March 3rd and we are staying untill March 10th. I know that the first week is not crowd of Spring Breakers but I am afraid that no one is going to be there.
Do you know if there are parties at the beach in the first week and if there othe spring break parties there in the first week?? Or the peak and the parties begin on the second week??

The first week of march into the 2nd week is actually the most packed.

February Until April is flooded with spring breakers dont worry about the amount of people there will still be alot to do

Honestly the first week of march is better to catch girls, the ratio is better than the second week (sausage fest!).

Where are you from Marcos by the way?

I can definately agree with the 1st week of march being the best for girls.

Never seen so many single blond girls from the midwest in my life

Cancun is never empty. There are young ppl (18-23) year round, every week. Not to the extent of SB, but it's a crazy scene, even in the low season of Sept-Nov. Do not worry!!

The second half of your vacation will be busier b/c it clashes with the second busiest week of Spring Break...well in terms of numbers anyway.

I put the below together which I found on the net stating how many college/university students are off across all of U.S on each given week:

February 21-25, 2011 (Mon-Fri) - 334,196
February 28 - March 4, 2011 (Mon-Fri) - 156,026
March 7-11, 2011 (Mon-Fri) - 1,714,927

plus canada will be closing out their break durring your time. im allready back from my trip and it was dope, it got more and more breakers as they days went by. u will be golden, no worries.

From what i have been hearing, and what has been reinforced by larson here is that I will be arriving during peak sausage week. 11 days from today.. still puts a huge grin on my face cuz i intend on having the time of my life what ever the guy/girl ratio may be. I still cant help but wonder what the actual ratio will look like. I don't suppose the large traveling agencies put up anywhere an approximation of how many males or females have booked with them.

Probably not, it's definitely staggering, but keep the positive attitude and you'll have the time of your life. It's expected to be even worse this year due to all the bad press, but nobody here is losing any sleep over it.

Well there's your problem, Student City posted it, and they rely on people buying packages. There's no way in hell it's 50/50.

There is nothing more that I would like to do than trust that tiny lil graph. But you make a sound point, speak from experience and have no reason to make shit up like they do. Last year we took a bus from the oasis to a club and it was 60 guys on the bus and not a single female.

Well i went to greece last summer and girls where heavily out numbered by lads , didnt stop us having the best holiday to date though! It's normally always the case , you dont see it very often where a group of 20 plus girls go away , where as lads its common , certainly around here .
