I'm actually heading over to Munich later this week for around 3 weeks. It always amazes me how much more expensive things are over there. This includes many of the liquors, but also includes water/soda. I didn't realize that a bottle of goose was quite that expensive in London, though! If I end up there for holidays/work, will have to bring it with me!

That is the retail price from the shops i.e Selfridges ect but if you buy it in a club you are looking at around £150-£170 for a 70cl bottle.

A can of coke is £1 sometimes more!

Good to see some Vodka Conneseuirs on here... We'll be coming from the UK 13th-20th - fully loaded with the goose from Duty Free I thinks, can usually get it for around £40 GBP... But if anyone's tried Snow Queen then that's the biz too...

I had heard that some people had purchased for a little more than 20 pesos for a standard can at Wal-mart. I had purchased closer to the hotel zone, and want to say that I paid closer to 35 pesos. Bottom line, you should be able to get it for less than USD $3 per can...

Yikes! Yes, the other thing is the mixed drinks there...if I get a rum & coke, it will come with a 20cl bottle of coke (EUR 3-5) and the shot (EUR 3-5). In fact, in most places it seems like a 20cl bottle of coke / water is more expensive than a larger beer. Beer it is!
