|  Party Resorts - Cancun - My List - Help! Hi everyone, I tried booking to the RIU Cancun for March 6, but minutes before my booking, they stopped taking reservations. I'm now extremely pissed and urgently need to decide where I want to go. I'm also not sure what week to go. I wanted to go on the March 6 week, but will there be a lot of parties going on that week? I'm scared of going the March 13 week b/c High Schools are off and no offense to the 16 years old on the site but I'm not too interested in partying with little kids...I'm in my mid 20s. I've never been to Cancun, so I would like to hear from the party people here, what do you recommend? What week? I have a list of resorts below which I think are going to be full of parties. Can you guys help me narrow down my search? If you guys disagree or have any recommendations, I would love to hear it. I need to book today, I'm getting nervous lol  - Gran Caribe Real - Be Live - RIU Cancun - Barcelo Costa - Royal Cancun - Be Live Grand - Great Parnassus - OMNI Cancun - Golden Parnassus - Tucancun - Gran Melia Thanks |

| There is alot of people from this forum that will be there the week of the 13th if your looking to not party with youngins check some of the adult only 18+ resorts..if your looking for a party atmosphere tho some of these resorts may be a bit tame for what your looking for.. Try oasis, ME Cancun or the riu and real resorts some of your choices look good for what you are looking for.. Close your eyes and pick one, long as your in Cancun you will have a blast!!

| Thanks, Here's a big question. Would it be better to go on the March 6 week instead of the Week 13. Is the Week 13 week going to be insanely busy meaning all of the clubs will be rammed above capacity, beaches flooded of people, etc? Now I'm scared of the total opposite with the March 6 week...will it be too dead that week? I noticed a lot of schools are off on that week, almost as much at the March 13 week...so i'm assuming it's going to be a good week as well.. Thoughts? |

| Sounds good...i'm going to try and search this up, but out of the resorts I listed, which ones are walking distance to the big clubs. I know RIU Cancun is one of them, any others? I forgot one resort, Dreams Cancun. Anyone heard of it? Thanks again, much appreciated! |

| Just remember you can get the bus for about 65cents to anywhere you need to go.. Don't worry about it 'not' being busy there is always a party in Cancun any time of year.. And from late feb to mid April is party season as far as the spring break scene goes.. Either week you pick will be busy and fun as hell.

| Here are my two cents as far as where to book. From your list these are where I would go.. - Gran Caribe Real - RIU Cancun - Barcelo Costa - Royal Cancun (high end Adult only) No crazy pool/beach activites - Golden Parnassus - Gran Melia Additionally... Royal Solaris GR Solaris Dreams RIU Caribe No matter where you go, unless it's adult only, there will be kids. And as far as I know, there are only three in Cancun Royal Temptations Golden Parnassus |

| during march, you cant go wrong where to go. ive done Oasis, oasis playa (when it was an adult only resort), and Golden parnassus. oasis, i just cant handle the kids and the resort smells like puke and wayyyyyyyyy too "Busy" for me. and i consider myself a party animal! lol oasis playa was great but now its a family resort. Golden parnassus, once i went to this resort....ive called it my SECOND HOME now. been going there since and sometimes twice a year at GP. most of us in GP are repeat customers and we pretty much make it our yearly thing now. good luck! |

| Thanks a lot everyone for the responses. I basically might have to leave on Mar 6 or 7. I've basically narrowed it down to a couple from your suggestions along with availability: Dreams Barcelo Costa Dreams looks like a pretty solid resort, central to everything, walking distance to Kyrstal studentcity if I want to visit. Barcelo Costa looks good too and I save over $100. OMNI Cancun was another choice but it's pretty much the same price as Barcelo which I think is better. My only concern is the old people complaining about music and stuff lol, I hope the Dreams and Barcelo are full of spring breakers so we overrule Cheers |

| Between the two, I would say Dreams, but that is me. Not sure what the SB scene is like there, but it's top notch. I love their entertainment team. One of the best in Cancun..so very personable and fun. They are more of a family spot, but a beautiful hotel that is one hotel from the Krystal. Barcelo from the one time I was there around Thanksgiving, there was alot of young people. But I have no clue as to anything else about it |

I also pulled up numbers, it looks like with the amount of students off, those two weeks are going to be insanely busy...I found these numbers on the net (amount of students off for all colleges and universities in the U.S). I heard the RIU Cancun is a family resort too but in SB, it's pure party zone. I wonder if it's going to be the same at Dreams...this is my biggest scare right now. I can't book anything with the other resorts on my week...they're not available. | Agreed!!! Just book it and make the best of it. It's not like your gonna go home miserable. It's not so bad even if kids are around. Families know it's SB, and even so, those mid-lifers are some crazy ass ppl themselves. |

| I have been to Cancun for Spring Break March 10-30 and the best times are always March 20-30th. They are crazy busy then and the best party!

| i personally dont like it to be too busy! I hate not being able to walk, and bumping into people, spilling drinks.. iick! I like a crowd, but not *TOO* much of a crowd.. I guess im getting old!

| Yeah, It is not too much of a crowd. It is just a better crowd. It seems there is a more diverse group of people later in the month.

| im staying at the ME! The reviews on TripAdvisor seem really promising! It's where most of the celebs stay! It seems like an upscale trendy resort.. catering to 20-30 yr olds.. not teenagers!

| Hey everyone, I booked March 6-13 at Barcelo Tucancun. I didn't have many options available for me and I heard good things about this resort and should be packed with a good amount of breakers. Regardless, I don't sleep on vacations and I'll be raging every night elsewhere and buying hotel passes so I'll barely be there anyway loll I'm going solo after asking over 20 ppl to come..I think i've heard every excuse in the book so I said fuck everyone...
