| yah thos 300 were with S-trip. its eastern canadas spring break as well as some western. I got ripped off because there were alotttt less schools off durring my break. Oh well, still had a dope time. got in 2 days of partyn with thos schools. barcelo tucancun was also filling up with the s-trip students. |

| lol i can definetly handle my alcohol and not worried about being stupid drunk, just hearing those stories freak me out especially since this will probley be longest drinking binge I ever been on so not sure if my alcohol tolerance in past will be good judgment of its tolerance in cancun |

| Love how the above is Besafe's very first post, since 2007. WEIRD! One of those Mexico haters...got keep the US/Canadian dollar in their own country types. Never seen a too low balcony on any of my trips here and have been coming to Mexico since 1997. If you can't handle alcohol, don't drink it. That way, the "too low" railings won't look like a fun diving board down to the pool. After reading through the link, here are my tips.. Stay away from the boarder towns. Cancun in more then 1,000 miles away. Should be easy Don't do drugs or prostitutes. Don't believe everything you read or hear. There are three sides to every story. I am sure the link is posted by someone close to that organization and could have been close to a "victim" as well. Remember there is always another side of the story...and then there is the truth. It's SB time. Every year ppl try to deter vacationers from coming here, and ask that they go to FL, SC or TX instead. LAME!!! Be smart and that way you will always be safe. |

| First post and been on the boards longer than me lol. In my experience cancun is not any more dangerous than london. I am more wary in london than in cancun. As for balconies they are fine. I have seen people in osasis climbing over balconies and acting like spiderman so when they have accidents it is to be expected. |

| More bad news... In the last two days at one of the Resorts I work, one man (older) died in the ocean, from drowning. Another two were on oygen for 20 or so minutes. Seriously ppl, looking at the ocean today, it's a hot mess. It's nasty mean. DO NOT GO IN THE OCEAN WHILE CONSUMING ALCOHOL OR AFTER EATING!!!! The man who lost his life just purposed to his gf the night before. A real sad story. |
