Default favourite clubs
Hi,

It's my first time to Cancun and want to make the most of my week there AKA Party hard.

For you regulars - what clubs are your favourite and you would def make sure you went to if you knew you had once chance to visit cancun?

I want to fit in as much as is possible including the cancuncare party!

I cant stand coco bongo. If you like shows, where people dance and twirl shit around i guess this is the place for you. To me, all that start and stopping of the shows screws up the vibe of the club. But hey thats just me...

i dont like coco bongo either but its a must see, with one time is more than enough!

The City has always been my favorite but i havent been to Mandala... i go to Sweet a bit too often so its getting old... Bulldog is HORRIBLEEEE!

The City is always cool, the sweet is really nice, and for some reason I really liked Basic...

We had 2 good nights at Sweet. Got a table between the three of us and had great bottle service, a good view of the dancefloor on the balcony and got WASTED. Good music, good people.....thumbs up!

The city is the largest club.. its amazing.. coco bongo.. maybe go once just to say you've done it.. but its not really a "club".. i really liked Dady'O's though.. :/ we were down when MJ died, they had a tribute, and it was pretty nuts!

Thanks for your replies very useful. So city def on the hit list. May end up there a couple of times esp if lil jon will be performing there on my last night. I can understand why coco bongo can have mixed reviews as far as a 'club' is concerned but seems like an experiemce to have. 19 more sleeps....roll on...

If you like people in costumes hanging from the ceiling go cocobongos, i personally hate it. Went in 07 avoided it like the plague in 08 lol.

I finally went to Coco Bongo last year for the first time. I thought it was retarded. I will never go back again.

The City is a fav for sure, saw 50 there, j-kwon, red man, luda, paris hilton, pauly shore, etc.... Daddy O was sweet when I saw Steve-O and Fat Joe. Coco bongo has got to be the lamest for sure! Go wherever the crowd is that night or if there is an event you want to see.

I have to agree with Mormis....Bulldogs is the WORST club in cancun , it was ok in SB 2003 cause I was too wasted to rember it ,sucked in SB 2006, sucked in SB 2009 , and I decided to try it again in SB 2010 and it still SUCKED, actually I paid walked in and TRIED to get a drink and walked out ....skipped it in oct 2010 and I will be skipping it SB 2011 for sure. Much rather go to City,DaddyO,Sweet,Ultra,Congo

it is more of a lounge than a club. its on top of dady'o. its pretty cool up there but its not a club atmosphere

7.Cocobongo (didnt like it)

however there are 2 new clubs which I have not been to so I cant comment on.
they are called Roo, and Mandela (i think thats how it was spelt) both looked like nice spots and I wish i checked em out last week when i was down there.

Bulldog is bad too. But it may be a little different this year since Krystal is literally next to it. For me it's

1. The City
2. Basic
3. DaddyO
4. Senor Frog
5. Bulldog
6. CocoBongo

Sweet has a lot of protential to be #1 but I was only there for 20 min when it was empty so I didn't put it in my ranking.

correction, Daddy O is still standing, Daddy Rock is now Sweet, even when theres an urban legend that there is still a part of daddy rock somewhere inside sweet...

as far as lil john, he doesnt really sing, he is here about 6 ot 7 times a year, he just "hosts" parties....

"The Situation" will be hosting a party at the city in 3 days...

And tonight LMFAO is playing there too...

The City is the best lol

Dady o's is alright

Sweet is one of my favorites

Mandala looks like it's got huge potential

Bulldog is the worst spot in cancun

Basic is small but awesome white party

Seņor frogs I hated but good place to fish chicks

kellz, thought you were there till the 30th? Honestly though, in my opinion, even a crappy club, could turn into a decent night.. really depends on the crowd too.. & who you are with! But The City is my favorite by far.. I enjoyed basic as well.. not as a big, but def. worth a visit!

I remember when we went to Sweet, place looked really...sweet (see what I did there).

But yea, as Henry mentioned, it was completely dead so we didn't stick around. Has it been better lately?

Henry/Norma, we still need to work out our situation for getting bottles and tables throughout the week.
