Alright all,

Im getting to Cancun on the 8th. Staying for a week. You lot are gonna have the joy of a couple of English blokes from London to attempt to chat up.

So - Im at the Gran Caribe. Decent?

Getting women back into the hotel. I rang them, apparently, its 120 dollars per extra guest. Im happy to pay that, no worries. Anyone tried it? Is that the case?

We're all inclusive and both taking about £1200 (about $2500ish?), that's gonna be enough right?

Just wanna know what 8th-15th is like really! good dates? Whats my pad gonna be like!?

£1200 is only really $1650 give or take according to official exchange rates.... Plus remember you always will never get a good deal exchanging unless directly with a bank or the ATM. Eitherway $1650 for a week is more than fine. Most people on these boards say you should budget around $100 per day you are there. So you have the minimun plus a few hundred for other expenses and entertainment. You will be more than fine with the money.

With getting people back in, you might be able to just sneak girls back up to your room by bribing the doorman and if any other security. Usually a $20 each goes a long way. Definitely cheaper than $120!

You are always going on the second week of March! It is the second busiest week for spring breakers in cancun with a lot of universities in the US off! You wont be disappointed! Me and some friends will also be there March 8-13th, but staying at the ME.

I personally think you need more than 100us a day.

If the clubs are 30-45 dollars anight
at least 25 bucks in tips during the day time activities
pre game at a lil bar or possinbly hit 2 clubs in one night thats lets just say another 20 bucks
food- 20 bucks
tips at the club 20 bucks

thats 100 right there, and thats if you like eating shitty resort food thats inclusive of your booking at the hotel.

I agree, $100 a day is not enough if you are going to do SB like you want! Why be on a budget unless you have to be? There are atm's if you dont want to bring all kinds of cash but on the other hand its probably easier to bring the cash and lock it up in the safe in your room! You are definately going during prime time and I am sure the room will be nice enough! You won't find yourself in there much so don't worry!
