From what I am told... they usually always forecast rain in Cancun. And.. most of the time if it does rain it is only for a short time and then the sun is back out bright! So... that's what I am hoping for. I am visiting for my birthday March 3 - 8th. Have fun!

It hasn't rained during the day in a couple weeks. A couple late night or early am showers but they lasted a few minutes. It's been sunny and in the 80's as well. Pretty much perfect weather. Has been getting a lil cool at night, but it's refreshing.

it's true, they have rain everyday on the weather forcast...but that is not the case. If it does rain it is in 10min spurts morning and maybe afternoon...it has never rained all day and I have been there 3 times. Don't worry about the weather it will be fine hope that eases your mind.

It can and may rain for a full day. You just make the best of it. If rain ruins your fun, you had no fun to begin with. If I could tell tourists one things before coming here, it's to stay away from the weather reports. Gets too many people all pissy for no reason.

when coming from uk, the hot weather abroad is one of the best things to look out for, apart from the drinking and partying of course.

Rain doesn't have to equal cold. We need the rain here just as much as the rest of the world; and I totally understand ppl come here for the sunshine. That is why I am telling everyone to relax. It's hot, it's sunny, it's next to perfect. Weather reports are 99% wrong most of the time, and you have to look at the % of the shower. Most of the time it states 10-30% chance, which means a GREAT day. If it rains, it's less then 30 min. It's the dry season right now. NO WORRIES!!! My job depends 100% on sunshine, I would be the first to complain if it was bad here.

Seriously, are you gonna cancel your trip cause of water? It's March 5th, weather people all over the world can't get the following days or even a 12 hr forecast right and you are thinking they can predict a week from now. I have been cought in a million showers that last 10 minutes here and there was 10% in the forecast. My Dad was here two weeks ago and his weather stated 40-60% his entire trip and it was PERFECT the enitre time.
If it was 60% snow, I would understand the fuss. It's Cancun, and the fun happens rain or shine. Again, I understand ppl want to get away from crappy weather, but like all guests tell me on shit days, "A bad day in Cancun is better then a good day back home".
