| Ok, i have been trolling around CC for a while, We leave in 2 days!!! My first time on a plane, this far west, and in another country!!! I was packing and my friends brought up club dress code, i heard it was pretty laid back not like here in the Washington DC area. Straight to the point are dress shoes needed? I said no, Just confirming Krystal resort 5th-13th!!! |

| If you are going to the Springbreak style clubs which I am sure you are, Just make sure you have something other than sandals. If you plan to go outside of that you may need something nicer but tennis shoes will be just fine for most of the clubs! |

| Senor frogs is more of a restraunt than a club. I wouldn't bring your fancy pair for that occasion! If I remember right, places like the "City" night club wont allow sandals on specific nights. Other than that, go as fancy as you would like, a nice crispy white pair of sneaks always look good! |

| It's up to you what you want to wear to the clubs/bars. Shoes of any kind are a must (don't want sandals because of possible broken glass + your feet will get stepped on). Other than that it is all up to you. I've seen people walking around in suits and others in soccer jumpsuits or wife-beaters. |

| Yea I was talking about a flip flop type sandal... I wore jeans one night last year. It wasn't too bad, but that might be because I am always cold. The clubs are usually pretty warm. |

| Wear anything comfortable. I see people wearing just shorts and a polo. Some people like to dress flashy, but there really is no dress code!

| As others had said mate dressto what you would normally, Personally i couldnt go to a club in a tshirt, shorts and sandals but depends how you roll i suppose! Has to be Smart for me, Even in the UK you make an effort, but your there to party!! Im going to take white leather shoes/plimsole type, Havianas in white or black could be a pass, but the broken glass is an issue! |

| As the others mentioned, anything goes...I'm leaving the expensive shoes and jewelry at home though...no need to bring it and it also catches the attention of locals (never know).

| Lets not be so closed minded. Expensive material possessions catch the attention of EVERYONE, not just the locals. Believe it or not, not all of the locals are as evil as the news or reports would have you believe.

| Sorry to digress but following on from fletch's comments i just want to add that i was reading an article on mexico and it showed the stats and geographical locations of the murders. Most of them happen in the places closest to the mexican US border. It's funny my friend was asking me if he sbould bring his piece of jewellery. I said yes he should if he wants to. I have never felt threatened in cancun. |
