Question Doctor Doctor, i think i'm addicted to Mexico

After numerous tests and analysis of depression my doctor diagnosed super duper depression (medical term) and found the source being the minute i left Mexico. So i have been advised for my own good to return to Mexico next year. Doctors Orders.

After 2 of the best weeks of my life me and the lads are coming back next year, anyone reading this forum thinking about going to Mexico but still undecided. BOOK NOW. stop what your doing, put down the sandwich, turn off the dvd, the dog can walk its self, just go book Mexico.

So my question;

For what ever reason we cant re-book for the same hotel. Dont know the reason but there is implications it may be closing. Oasis (e Live) Viva beach it was called.

So our alternative is the TuCancun. Done a bit of research but you guys seem to be the better than Google so....

Anyone stayed there or know a little about it? Our last hotel was less than a 10 minute walk to the clubs which was ideal, i THINK Tucancun is a bus ride but not sure.

Hope everyone is well and any feedback is appreciated.

regards

G

Its still quite early to book next year.

Prices may actually DROP if you book now.

The reason is hotels aren't focused that far in advanced just yet so they have their standard rates but when they see occupancy levels down they tweak the price and offer expedia and other websites great deals.

I was pricing out trips last year at this time and most hotels were 300-400$ more expensive.

Cheers for comment and i understand were your coming from, however our agents told us to book early and we saved £200 doing so. Plus it gives me longer to pay the holiday and organize finances. As only get it cheaper if get a late late booking but i like the security of knowing I'm booked.

cheers for comment tho. Do you know anything about tucancun? As how far it is from strip.

From my experience its dif to the European Crowd.

If you book a package like lets say with Thomas Cook, its cheaper to book early. They only have small contingents , and the price goes up the more these contingents get full.

Same with Flights, these long distance flights just get more expensive the closer you get to the travel date.

It would be the best to just book the flight as early as possible and then book directly the Hotel with Expedia etc.

Actually, Gareth.. idk what dates your going, but mid march, apparently is a *total* cock fest... Have you also thought about booking the Gran Caribe Real, or the Riu ? The Riu, I believe is right where the clubs are as well! Depending on your budget, i'd stay at a nicer hotel, but then again, im a fatass, and I like to eat, so I need good food. lol.

We stayed at ME, and loved it.. Beach Palace looked really nice too, but, seemed like there was a decent amount of kids over there.. Live Aqua looks pretty nice!!

Not sure if you ever heard of Trip Advisor, but they have forums on there too, and all Cancun Hotels, with reviews & such, and there is a review section here as well for hotels!

The Riu is super close but it's pretty nice. The food there was unbelievable I was shocked to see how small the buffet was at Krystal when I went just because of how big it was at Riu. I was still too young to have booked there this year but if I don't stay at Krystal for 2012 Riu would be my next choice probably.

We've booked a week 5 days before we went this year, and thought it was ok. So if it is a cock fest just have to be the first to say hello ha. Were staying at TuCancun about a 20 min walk or 5 min bus (we prefer to actually walk with a few drinks in hand....thats just us) and ment to be quite nice, with a nicer beach then our previous hotel and that was beautiful so should be good.

refering to the convosation at the start we have booked early obvously and have saved over £400 each (apprently) so seems good but i'll check price few month before to see if we been robbed. HA

Hope to meet more of you CC this time but obviously deffinatly hope to see those who we did again! Woo excited. Party Rock ha

Best time to book is like before xmas time. People are spending money not on vacations but gifts.
