Your gonna love it over there guys. This will be my 5th and final time going to Cancun, unless i go on a stag do or summet. Thailand next year for the Full Moon partys at the Island of Koh Phangan.

First time coming to Cancun. From the U.S.- specifically the South.

Staying at GR Solaris, but I don't know if this is still a good idea. lol. I don't want to stay at the Oasis, but I don't want to be surrounded by old folks and bengay all day either. Thoughts?

Oh yeah, super excited about Cancun. Spent the last few SB's in South Beach Miami...I'll see how well Cancun compares.

but seriously tho am going on holiday to have a good laugh with my mates, meet people and have a cracking party for 2 weeks, if i pull i pull....am not going to be storming around cancun hasseling ever woman i can find, al let the other idiots do that and get rejected lol...

When i went on my first lads holiday at 17 that was my prime objective. However i quickly realized that the nights i didn't look for it your holiday is just more enjoyable.

I know what you mean, if you go out everynight and think 'i have to pull else the night will be sh1t' then you usually dont pull, fact is most of the time if you go out and have a good laugh without trying is the nights you actually pull...

Im 24 my sister is 22 and we are taking a much NEEDED vaca for the third week of march to cancun. The first time we went i was 15 and she was 13.. i went back again when i was 19 ... and now her and I are ready to go back BUTTTT cannot decide which hotel to stay at.... we want something nice but still having a good party atmosphere... apparently the riu cancun beach is sh*t compared to some reviews but idk if these people are stuck up snobs or what... pleaseeeee help anyone we are trying to finish booking today.. I stayed at Riu Caribe past two times.. ive never been disappointed but it wasnt during spring break.. thoughts?

As far as the Riu Cancun goes..... That's where I usually stay when I go in October . When I went in October of 2010 the beach was pretty much gone in one section but when I went back October of 2011 it was fine .....let's just say the middle section from the wall to the water still has about 20 meters of sand or more and the left side near the restaurant has the volleyball courts plus about 75 meters of sand before you reach the water and the right side near the quiet pool has about 40 meters of sand from the water.....the beach is fine and the hotel is nice....also don't forget the sports bar on the 2 nd floor serves drinks all night 24 hrs so if you feel the need to go get another drink then go for it also all you guys from Europe love your football (soccer) which will be on the tv all the time!!!!

I think up around the top of the 7, the water is more calm.. and it's not as blue..? Not exactly sure.. last year I went, we met up with 2 aussie's, and they were staying at the Riu Caribe and I think they enjoyed it a lot Anywhere will be fun.. plus you go out at night anyways!

The water is just as blue at the top of the seven as it is on the side of the seven, I should know from personal experience.....yes it's more calm at the top of the seven as you can actually hang out in it without undertow , way more enjoyable ........by the way the 2 Aussie girls weren't at the Riu caribe they were at the grand caribe real on the side of the seven next door to the royal cancun....and the Riu caribe is way down the top of the seven closer to downtown near temptations......lol , Damn Alicia I am gonna buy you a map of Cancun

haha. idk how many caribes there are.. I didn't realize there was more then 1! I just know the hotel I stay at, ones next door to it, or people who im hanging out with, where they are staying! haha
