Default HELP! got some questions

Hello all,

Me and 3 friends ( from Holland ) are coming to cancun in March ( 2 till 11 ). We are staying in the Gran Caribe AI. I am already seeking internet for some good advice and great tips ( a bit early, but we are exited ).

Here's what I want to know.

- Did we make a good choice of hotel?
- Did we choose the right dates?
- What kind of day trips are a must? ( because I dont wanna be wasted all )
- For what kind of people do we have to watch out?

I hope someone could give some great answers.

Thnx!

Marcel

Sorry i don't know the hotel.

I'm sure those dates will be fine and you'll have a great time.

I went scuba - diving and absolutely loved it. If that's not your thing then you can go snorkeling where you drive your own speed boat to the reef then swim about looking at all the colorful fish and sea plants. that was known as the jungle tour, i would also recomend that. there are other excursions but there the two i did.

- For what kind of people do we have to watch out?
Keep a look out for people with an eye patch and a wooden leg. A Mexican told me these people are called "pirates" and they try to steal your treasure and make you walk the plank. So be careful.

Have a great time

Jungle tour was pretty cool. I'm deff trying scuba diving this year. Since I'll be there for 2 weeks, I think we will be doing more "extra curriculars" other than getting wasted every single second of every day there.

I'll be there for 10 days or so. Scuba diving is one of the things I want to do.

Marcel, those dates are a bit early, but there are still some schools that have spring break the first week of March. The big PAC/SEC schools, won't be down there, but it still should be a kick ass time.

Marcel,, There are still lots of schools on Spring Break like Duke, and Central Florida, but the major SEC schools don't have spring break until later in March. Marcel, I think you picked an ideal time to go, it can get too cray down there in mid March. Check out the link for school's spring break times.

How old are you and your buds who are going?

I think you have chosen the right time to visit Cancun. Don't miss the chance to explore that piece of heaven. Definitely scuba-diving, tour in the deep jungle and a tour of all the fabulous night bars. You will love it for sure!
