Its walking distance. 10min sober, 20min-2hours drunk.

Remember, even if you stay at the Oasis Playa you NEED a Daypass for the regular Oasis. Only staying at the Grand Oasis gives you full access to all other Oasises...

Cheers from freezing Europe

Nico I have to differ here...

in the past if you had oasis bracelet it was good in ALL the properties... but since they sold it and now they have different names, i dont know how that is going to work

back in the day when i use to go to cancun s.b. and was actually the age when you're suppose to go lol, you could get in any of the sister hotels as long as you stayed at one.

Anyways thanks for the info i decided on the Royal Mayan, 2k and can fill the room up with more than 4 people

To get the exact distance, go to hotels.com and look at the feedbox on the right on close-by hotels. That's how I got the exact distance 420 yards from Avalon Grand Cancun and ME.

Hope that helps!

yea i agree. i've stayed at quite a few hotels in cancun but in my opinion the best by far are the royal resorts. my favorite is the royal sands.

My first time in cancun I stayed at the royal sands too...

One of my all time favorite Cancun stories fits perfectly here...

Loooong story short, I walked from Oasis Playa to the Royal Sands, took me forever, with club outfit, a plastic bag that only had a pic of me and some random people at The City, my cigarettes, a lighter and whatever money I had left. Not only that, as I said, it was my first time in Cancun, I was walking ON THE BEACH and I had no idea where the exits to the street are... Took me 3 or 4 hours, blistered feet, all sweaty and tired as hell. Definitely the worst and longest walk of shame of my life lol

Back to the post title, oasis playa is almost at the end, but not a long bus ride to Grand... Oh I wish I had an oasis bracelet! Haha
