My ENTIRE trip report.............. Finally, plus pics!

Ok, Im going to attempt to do this Trip Report for you all, its really hard to recall ALL the stuff during the days, and which days it was, but the nights I pretty much have down! Its also hard emotionally since I am no longer with Linz, but here goes! OK…………… Thursday march 8th, I get off work at lunch, head to the tanning bed, then the bank and OFF to Chicago. Pretty easy drive, not much traffic UNTIL I hit downtown Chicago. Took me an hour longer than expected but I get to the hotel and check in. I have about an hour to blow before I need to hit the airport and pick up linz. So, I lounge out, then hit the road for the usually short 12 mile drive to the airport. Traffic………………………… so it took me around 30 minutes, but no biggy, got there in plenty of time, picked her up, and got back to the hotel. We got some food from the lobby restaurant and headed to the room to bed.

Day 1

Well we got our wake up call, showered up and headed to the lobby for our ride! The limo arrived, right on time, and we were off to the airport! Got there, checked in, through security and headed to our gate. We just sat there looking forward to the trip ahead. There was this kid who was sitting waiting for the plane with his one hand in the air, like a rockstar sign with his fingers for a good 20 minutes. We just laughed and wondered how long he could hold the position, we could tell he was pumped for the trip!! Well finally we board and GUESS who is sitting right beside me…………….. The kid that was all hyped holding up the rockstar hand!! Hahaha well, almost as soon as the plane was in the air, him and I were doing jack and cokes! I have a picture of the mini pyramid I build with my bottles, although 3 were missing since they fell under the seat. Anyways, finally land in cancun, buzzed, but there! Get through customs and get our luggage pretty fast. Then, out to the swarm of people outside! Finally after what seemed an hour, we finally found a studentcity person who knew what was going on, got in our ride, and headed to the Oasis Cancun! Well, we arrived, and had to wait for our “Assistant” to arrive and get us through check in. She arrived with 2 six packs of beer for us, which I loved, and got us right through check in. After that, we headed straight to our room to see how it was. Well, let me say that they just finished remodeling it, and our room was super nice! First floor, facing the ocean, right to the left of the American Eagle party stage on the beach, couldn’t beat it!! The weather this first day was pretty cloudy, no sun, but hot. We hit the beach, walked around the resort when I spotted KP! He was tossing out beads, blasting his music trying to get people hyped in the pool. So, we took a few pics together, chatted for a few, then we headed back to the room to chill and get ready for the night. Ok, tonight was suppose to be the “White” party at Basic, so we headed to Slices, just linz and I for some pre drinking. It was fun, both of us had a few yards, then I met this couple from ……… well I don’t remember. Myself and this ladies husband started doing Jager shots, one, two, three………….. after that I don’t remember. However, I do remember linz didn’t like me too much after all those shots, so……………….. she took me back to the hotel and we finished our night there, no club that night!!!

Day 2

Woke up, got some breakfast at one of the Many buffets, let me tell you, this one by the main lobby is GREAT! SO much food to pick from, and its all good too!! After that, the day was so nice, we hit the beach for the majority of the day, laying out, partying with the people, playing in the ocean, getting free goodie hand out bags, the usual. Headed in to get ready for the night! So, we head to Corona Bar to meet up with some of the CC peeps! First person I see…….. STEVE!! We chat it up for awhile, then trigger shows up with his buddy, then finally dennis shows up. Good times, we all chat it up, drink of course, then linz decides to “accidentally” knock a beer over, gets on steves pants, no biggie! A few minutes later, she does it again, however, this time its ALL over my pants, and a huge spot!! It dry’s in no time, so we took a few pics with the “we miss fletch” signs, then a few of us head over to The City for our VIP night. Once we got there, linz actually started feeling sick, which I didn’t know until later. We had our bottle service, I had a huge bottle of vodka, which got messy later on in the night. Linz kept going back and forth to the bathroom getting sick, which I found out later, poor thing! I kept drinking in the vip room, getting crunk and watched Three 6 mafia tear it up on stage. After that, we left and I took her back to the hotel so she could get some rest!! Good night though!!

Day 3

Well, normal thing in the morning, breakfast, beach, chilled with Philadelphia and Andrew by the pool for awhile during the day, chilled out and just really enjoyed the weather! Started to get ready for the night, as this was the CC party night!! We headed to the pier by fat Tuesdays early. Met up with steve and just a few others. I could tell steve was worried about the turn out, as there wasn’t that many people there at that time. However, more and more and more started to show up, then we knew it was going to be a good turn out!! Got our tickets and boarded the boat! Wow there was a huge table just LOADED with drinks waiting on us, so, naturally everyone started in drinking. We cruised around, drank, had the contests, it was really a good time!! Not sure how long this lasted, awhile though. Got back and docked near frogs and took a nice tour bus directly to Carlos and Charlie’s and had the Yards waiting once again!! Ohhh this is when it gets a little fuzzy. I remember linz and another girl kissing, ILL leave out a few other things I saw going on, but wild and crazy, I know those of you who were there got pics and know what I am talking about!! Ohhhhhhhh my, after this it was free cover at frogs but you had to buy drinks, so linz and I went across the street and used our MVP service at Daddy O’s! Went right in, ushered up to the vip room where there were several “celebs”. Jamie Kennedy, Real World People, and finally Steve O from jackass!! I got a pick with Steve O, as well as Linz did as well. Good times, I was drinking rum and coke once we got there and started to get way drunk. Steve O did his thing on stage and after that, I knew it was time for me to leave. We were going to take the bus, but I knew I was going to puke, so took a cab right to the hotel!! Soon as I get in the room, Im on the balcony puking my brains out over it, it was fun!! Puked some more in the bathroom and then passed out!! What a night, clearly the best of the trip, hahahahahahaha!!!

Day 4

Well I woke up this morning not feeling very good at ALL! Got some food, and really just layed around the pool all day with linz, my body was not feeling good at all from all the puking, so I took it pretty easy. We got ready to go out for the night and headed to the lobby bar to get a few drinks, well………….. for her, haha. We were standing there in the lobby bar, there is this huge overhang made of glass, well, we are like 5 feeet from it, and all of a sudden, BOOM, the entire thing breaks and glass falls everywhere, almost all over a guy walking under it!! Someone from the top floor threw a full glass bottle down on it! Could have killed someone!! But luckily it didn’t. After that, we said we are leaving, headed to Bulldog for the party. Got right in, NICE vip room/area. Linz and I chilled in there, she was drinking on the beers, I had half a vodka and couldn’t do it haha. Chilled in there for awhile with a few of the real world and laguna beach people. I was really feeling sick, so we decided to call it a night and head back to the hotel! All in all a good day and night, although we didn’t stay out past 1am I don’t think? I was in NO shape, hahahaha

Day 5

Woke up feeling good, this was the day I was looking forward too, was suppose to meet shaun and Kristi this night to pre drink at slices, however, our private vip dinner was rescheduled for this night, so……………….. my goal was to go to his hotel and find them!! We get there around 2:30 in the afternoon, sit around his lobby bar and have a few drinks, hoping and praying we can find them. Linz had some serious doubts I could tell, but just when all hope was lost, I see shaun and Kristi walking in from the beach, but not looking in the lobby, kind of looking away, so I stand in the doorway until shaun nearly runs me over, then realizes its me, and tackles me with a big WoooooooooooHooooooooooooooooo!!! You know what follows, drinks, drinks, drinks!! All shaun wanted was….. “tequila!!!” Ohhh we all drank and had some fun when shaun saw a bottle of alcohol called “Anis Kamel”. Shaun wanted to drink this strange alcohol he thought was named after the butt of a camel, so, we had shots of it, tasted like black lickerish really!! Funny stuff though, by now we are tanked and Kristi went upstairs to nap, so the 3 of us head to the market by slices, shaun wanted to check on getting a new tattoo. We get there and check it out, then head down to frogs after! Linz and I are sitting on the outside deck outside when shaun comes scrapping down the slice, stops at the end, sticks his head out and says…….. HI, then leaps out into the lagoon!! Very funny stuff I must say, he gets out and demands I go down it, so………………. I did!! I went down that thing faster than I could have ever imagined!! After that, that’s all we kept doing, going down it over and over and over again!! Finally we leave and head to my hotel, where I show shown our room. Linz decideds to start getting ready so I help a drunken shaun to the bus stop. I pay for his bus and tell the driver and ALL the people on it to make sure he gets back to the Oasis Viva!! I later find out he didn’t exactly end up there, he passed out on the bus, but eventually awakened to get back there on his own!! Crazy guy!!! Well, I headed back to the room and got ready for our vip dinner. We waited out in the front lobby and sure enough, our stretch navigator limo shows up, early!! We got in, and headed to a hotel called ME. REALLY nice hotel, we get there and non of the “celebs” are ready, so Zack from the Real World has us come inside. We get in the lobby and there are a few cabanas set up in there, really dark in there with candles lit everywhere. Anyways, there is Dieter and Kendra from laguna beach, kendras sister, zack from the real world key west and Tyre from Real world Denver. It was kendra’s sisters 21st Bday, so we all did shots of grey goose, then a few pics, then finally got in the limo and headed to the dinner. We went to a place called Tai Lounge, it was amazing!! We all had some food, plenty of drinks, talked it up, pics, then headed back in the limo and headed to the American Eagle concer series event at The City! Was pretty phat pulling up in a limo in front of the place and having every person trying to take pics and ask who we are and then they noticed who we with. Got ushered right in, again, and up to the vip room. This night linz and I didn’t really have that much fun at the club at least. Drinks were flowing, but the bands they had sucked and DJ AM didn’t show cause he was sick, so…………… we left early this night. Not sure, but by 2am! Some girl on our bus on the way back to the hotel was puking out the window, was pretty funny, but she was tanked!! All in all a good day and night!!

Day 6

More of the usual this day, lots of beach stuff, went down to the market so linz could get some shopping done, ate at Carlos and Charlies for lunch, no biggy, had a nice day all in all. We were to meet shaun and Kristi at their hotel this night for drinks before going out to party for the Mardi Gras party! We meet them and start the drinking, same old stuff, shaun and I are our crazy selves, drinking and carrying on, linz and Kristi do their girl talk and stuff. We finally get to the party, get in pretty fast, but there are SOOOOOOOOOOOO many guys there, its just nuts, and the line to get a drink is sick!! I gave the guy a 20.00 dollar bill and he wrote his name on my hand. So, when ever I needed drinks after this, he took care of me, how ever many I needed! Bumped into dennis there, got him a drink, but this was nearly around the time we were going to leave. We leave, and try and decide what to do next, but……. Linz and I ended up getting into a huge fight, over nothing, and she and I ended up going back to the hotel room. This fight was for sure my fault, but………….. we both had a hand in it. Unfortunate, but that was the night, by far my least favorite of the trip!!

Day 7

Well, this was our last full day in cancun, we had a free excursion for our pimp trip so we did the swimming with dolphins thing at the aquarium at la isla shopping center. It was pretty cool actually, spent an hour in the pool with the dolphins, and did all kinds of neat things!! I really enjoyed it, and I know linz did as well!! Headed back to the hotel, walked around, said a few good byes, really tried to enjoy the last day. That night we met up with shaun and Kristi once again at their hotel, pre drank a little, then headed to slices for the mini CC meet up! There was steve, ian, surfboy, henry, dream, apple, and a few others, it was a real fun time!! We drank at slices then went over to Carlos and Charlies to continue the party! Did that for awhile, then linz and I decided to call it a night, so, I said my last good byes, the one with shaun was the hardest, he really is like my brother from a different mother. He shed a few tears and I nearly did, but I held them back! A GREAT send off I must say, great way to end a trip with friends, then we headed back to the hotel to finish packing and get a few hours of sleep.

Day 8

Well, all things come to an end, woke up, got our ride and got to the airport. Easy check in and our flight was on time!! Landed in chicago and said good bye to linz as she had a connecting flight to dallas! Was the last time I might see her……….. as you all know we broke up Saturday!  Well, that’s my trip, ILL have ALL the pics up when linz sends me the disk this week! I enjoyed seeing all of you, and cant wait until we all see each other again!! Love you all!!

Great T.R. . Sounds like you and linz didn't really fight alot. It's definatly hard to go there with a girl because there are so many dudes compared to girls there. Seams you guys had a great time.
P.S.. Is it more fun with bringing a girl or just going with friends , since you've done both.

well I would obviously rather go with friends, but her and I just nit picked at each other all day everyday really. But only 2 major fights, we still had our little spats days! If we both would have had friends there, it would have eased the tension and made it more enjoyable! Especially for her, with no girls to hang with. But yes, Id rather go with friends! But I enjoyed myself with her.

yes, it does suck andrew! I love her to death. I know many of my friends are trying to cheer me up and tell me I can do much better and this and that but......... I loved her! I didnt want anyone else, she was perfect to me but, I wasnt getting what I wanted and she was unhappy with a few things, we we both decided that it was best. ILL keep trucking on, at least I have next year to look forward too, haha

honestly fletch, it wasn't worth all the days of begging for votes and all that. Hell, I get the same vip treatment every year for free, other than the damn limo! They were nice for giving us everything, but we didnt get half of what we were told to be honest!
