well sunday the scale did say 1 down!! but still a ways to go. just plugging along, hopeing for more this week!!!!

I had an awesome workout this morning .. having a little trouble lifting my arms up.. lol but that good.. lol

OH forgot to say, 3.5 pounds down this week..

yeah.. I end up having to lose the same 15lbs over and over... I was down 5 then had hubbies Bday in Banff.. and well you know what happens.. right back up again.. lol

this weekend I did have an awesome weekend for staying on track.. its usually the weekends that kill what i have done all week...but I am working to hard to blow it off this time .. I am gonna stay focused.. and just freaking do it .. oh and BTW.. thats a weight loss after quiting smoking .. that is huge for me .. 3 weeks smoke free tomorrow.. !! yeah!!!!

there's always another weekend, holiday, birthday, etc...

don't change your routine, it's okay to avoid the cakes and fried foods and pizza etc...

Stay committed, and eat lots of small meals during the day between meals.

I eat 7-8 times a day (snacking on apples, bananas, yogurt, pretzels, nutri-grain bars, etc... all 150 calories or less)

it's a mindset! Keep up the good work!

thanks.. and yes I am finding out it is a mindset.. I eat 6 times a day.. sometimes 7 if I am really hungry going to bed .. its hard to sleep when your hungry.. my main goal is to eat healthy and stay fit.. if I loose that 15 lbs thats great but I would rather have good muscle tone.. and lower body fat percentage..

This weekend started the Mankini Workout Program. Ran some mountain trails Saturday and Sunday, but then had a cheeseburger and 4 dark beers watching the Superbowl at the neighborhood bar.

Lost 40 pounds last year, then gained 15 back...down a couple from that 15. Probably should stick to vodka and tequila instead of beer. Gonna have to figure this one out...need more research.

wanted to share my favorite site. lots of great reading.
I keep in mind that there are so many expert ways to exercise..lol every one says they have the best most effective way.. but doing somethign everyday is better than nothing ..

yeah the beer is a killer.. my new drink is vodka water with a splash of diet cranberry juice... yeah, I know, kind of a chick drink.. but... it good and you still get your water in.. lol

Damm my weight is not moving fast enough for me. Still down but so slow. Well with that said for in 30 minutes of elliptical and 30 minutes of weights and 3 hours of shopping in today.

my fav. workout for wieght loss, shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! phillip just cant understand how all of the energy put into the shopping can really burn calories!! then when you find that really cute pair of shoes, how your blood pressure rises like a cardio workout!!! i will have to do that to burn a few extra this weekend!! ha ha ha to hell with the treadmill, just go to a really big shoe store and feel the burn!!!

Tell Phil to come walk West edmonton Mall. That place is huge and I walked 75% of it shopping. I got to hit all my favorite stores you know. Well another 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes of lunges, abs, back, and arms. Working nights this week so I am gonna get in morning work outs. yeah.

i like working out in the morning, day better! too bad i have to work!! oh well at least i have a chance to work out before its too late at night. in vegas they have a really large outlet mall that i went to but it was a sunday, so it was still closed up. i would like to check that out again.

Well I think it is time to start tanning. I had a pretty good work out today and well I went up one lb the other day and it is back down(Yeah). I am down 2.5 inches in my waist and 1.5 off my boobs(or back fat) so even though the weight isn't moving the inches are from all over. God damm I can't wait to get back to Cancun.

I am also gonna hit the gym even harder.

yea the tanning starts for me in march!!!!!!!!!!! at least a good 3 weeks before i leave. ive got at least 10 more lb. to lose then the really toning part comes in. cardio is burning fat with some light wieghts in there, but i will have to put more into it soon. i have dreams about being in cancun, feeling the friendly sun beating down, then i wake up and feel the cold!!! i really cant complain though its been a really mild winter. about time too!!

Lol was a handing you tequilla in your dreams. Hahaha See you soon in Cancun. Down another lb today. Well hopefully my wieght will finally start to move. I got stuck for awhile but I can see the difference in my body so that is a good thing. Training hard everyday. How much have you lost Kathy?

ive only lost 12lbs. but i really need to stick to it hard, because it is slowing me down alot!!! i ate a cookie today now i feel bad. i will have to make sure to burn that thing out at the gym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i need at least 4 more weeks of dieting to get it all off!!!

I wish I could say I was down 12. I am only down six so I still have a long way to go. Might have to double up the work outs to make it happen.

well having a bogus knee isnt helping im sure. but hey lets take what we do have and be happy!! our mood plays into it alot. just really need to be serious and get that other 10 off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont like my jigglies very much!! but i am wearing pants today that a few weeks ago i wouldnt have worn. bring on the weekend, so i can work out early in the day!!

I had an OK workout this morning .. my first heavy lift this morning, I got a pain in my head.. not sure if it is a migrain cause the weather in calgary went from beautiful to cold and snowing over night..or my neck is out, it did subside somewhat as my heartrate went down but .. it just seemed weird to me .. and it seems to be ok now.. it is still there but I have taken a ibprofin.. I did finish my workout but modified it somewhat.. ;(

glad it calmed down for ya. i hate headaches!!!!!!!!!! i get some real good ones sometimes, have since i was about 5. thank god for good drugs!!!!!!!!! are you and m planning on sheer night? i dont want to be the only one dressed up!

Kathy I am not sure I am into the sheer night. I just think that if security is like last year that they would just make us change. Glenn just says well I am almost naked all day so what difference will sheer night make. Kinda true I guess. I am gonna do the school girl night and white night/glow night but I will see about the other theme nights. Maybe the french maid night but, I have new dresses that I want to wear too.

Down another pound today Yeah.

ya i hear ya on that. i cant find anything sheer that is as cute as the dumb dress that wont fit!!!!!!!! i will have to try to find a school girl night outfit. phillip needs a kilt. wood told him he had to dress up. nurse night naw. white night yes. already bought a way cute dress for that. i more lb. said the scale today. at first it lied and said like 4 so i waited for about 10 min. stood on it again and its only 1. waited for another 5 tried again and it said 1 so i guess its 1 lb. but better than not moving at all. sure wish i coul loose the inches like you though. still have a way too big ass!! dont like it at all!! not awhole lot of time left for me to loose, so i really need to get cracking!! 10 would be great. hopefully i can pull it off. after i get over this hump it should move fairly quickly!! just getting past the hump without giving up.

Kathy if you need a school girl outfit I have an extra that doesn't fit me cause my hips are too small. My hips are only 34.5 It is very stretchy and because the skirt is like fake leather it is too heavy and falls down on me.
