I think I figured it out. The Mayans said the world would end in 2012 and I think they may be right. By the time we get to this Presidential Election in 2012 we will ALL be ready for the end of the world. It may seem like the only way to stop the damned political ads and stupid sniping over non-issues!

Hell, I got booted out of that fraternity a very long time ago!

My approach to life is just a pragmatic one. When I look at government I look at it the same way I look at a failing business. When you are in trouble you either raise revenues or cut expenses. When you are in really deep trouble you do both. That's what the government has to do now. Just real simple.

But to add to my original post....wouldn't the end of the world be a choice between Newt and Barack? I get the shivers just thinking about that one.

you forgot to mention the 3rd alternative .. sack the lot and start again (probably most peoples preferred option!)

Franco, I saw a billboard in East Texas that kind of sums it all up. It said, "You can't fix stupid, but you can vote them out!"

Kind of hits things on the head, don't you think?
