WHAT?
A gathering of fun loving, inclusive and giving people from all walks of life interested in having a great time in an awesome city and being a part of the groups effort to raise and donate $100,000.00 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

WHO?
Cancuncare members, locals, friends, neighbors, saggy bottoms, business associates, sponsors, friends of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and everyone you/we know….even the kids (except for the pub crawl & meet and greet of course) The more that participate the merrier and the closer we can all get to OUR $100,000.00 goal

One of the most influential CEO’s in the country will be present. The CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation was so impressed with all of OUR efforts last year that she has decided she will be attending that weekend to lend her full support and the kids waiting to be granted wishes will be featured in OUR groups parade through the quarter on that Saturday.

WHERE?
The host hotel is the Majestic Hotel Monteleone in the heart of the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana.

WHEN?
The weekend of September 7-9 2012

COST?
We have blocked 100 hotel rooms for each night on that weekend and are expecting all of them to sell out again this year. The cost is only $145.00 per room per night and whatever it costs you to get there, to eat and drink. All other scheduled events are free to those particpating (except the sunday brunch)

DONATIONS?
We are asking all those attending this year (as well as those who can not attend) to get involved early and make a year long commitment to give something (no matter how small) every month from now until the weekend of the big celebration party. 100 percent of every cent raised/donated goes directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

$100,000.00 is not just a one time single BIG donation, it’s just great giving people being committed to doing small donations every day, every month, all year long - the weekend in September is simply a celebration of OUR year long effort.
　
　
SCHEDULE

Friday, September 7, 2012 8pm - 11pmCaleb & Scott’s Meet & Greet in the Queen Anne Room at the Hotel Monteleone featuring the Danny Alexander Band and a very special silent auction with some incredible items.

Saturday. September 8, 2012 12:30 - 5:30 Jim & Terra’s parade through the quarter featuring the Make-A-Wish Foundation wish children. This will be followed by an adult pub crawl through the French quarter featuring some of the best pubs in the city. We will also be playing a fun game with some nice prizes. * parade theme this year is “circus comes to madi gras town” so start thinking about your costumes soon

Saturday, September 8, 2012 5:30 p.m - 8 p.m. Rob’s 50th birthday party celebration and Make-A-Wish foundation check presentation party in the Royal Room featuring a dj and cash bar. This event will take place immediately following the pub crawl.

Sunday, September 9, 2012 11:00 a.m. Nicole and Tracy’s Sunday brunch at the Palace Café. We will be granting a wish to OUR groups wish child at this brunch and highly recommend you attending. IT IS LIFE CHANGING!!!
