I know its not Cancun but this years spring break I went to Vegas, enjoy



Day 1 Monday

After an hour and a half of sleep I arise at 245 am. Go pick up my friend Vinny up the street and proceed to drive to Newark airport. (Ya seemed like a good idea to drive there in the beginning but realized we def should have gotten a limo). So we arrive and board the plane, I sleep for an hour and then finally we land in Vegas. The first thing I see as soon as I step off the plane was slot machines, lol. I get my bags quickly, however my friend seems to have a problem, he can’t find his bag. We look through 3 planes that came in and still can’t find it, just as we are about to go report lost luggage I see him standing there with it. The moron forgot the color of his bag (he said he hasn’t used it for years) so basically we wasted 15 min standing around like 2 shmucks. We get in the biggest line I have ever seen for a cab and soon enough we are whisked away to the Bellagio by our Bulgarian cabbie who spoke no English. Looking at the strip I realized it was not what I thought, I figured a huge long oasis of hotels and what I saw was not that much, however as you get closer you realize how long and big it really is, however I thought it was going to be bigger. Get into Bellagio which is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in my life and is one of the best ones in Vegas. We got a Lakeview room which offered us views of the fountain show they do everyday and nite as well as the Paris Casino and its fake Eiffel Tower. We go explore and hit up NY NY, the coke store, Fatburger (which has the best burgers ever) and then decided to go lay out as it is 87 deg, weird thing is we weren’t sweating, they are right about it being a dry heat. Walk into the pool area which has about 6 pools and 4 jacuzzis and lay out, get some drinks (14 for a margarita lol) and smoke some cigars. Later on we meet up with this girl who moved to Vegas from where I live and we end up at Paris for dinner. We were supposed to go to Jet that nite but with the time change and extreme exhaustion we turned in early that nite.

Day 2 Tuesday

Wake up at the ungodly hour of 830 and immediately hit up the breakfast buffet (by far the best I ever had, lol it better be at 15 bucks a pop). First cocktail is at 1030 laying out. Then we went to the wax museum at the Venetian which was cool. Then we went to the mall at Caesars Palace. Serious serious stores, bought my brother a playboy shirt and I got a Mercedes Benz pullover, saw some exotic cars, my friend got a 44 oz yard of long island ice tea, he couldn’t finish it so I did the honors. After a light supper at NY NY we got ready for the nite destination club Pure in Caesars. Another friend of Vinny’s who moved to Vegas accompanied us out this nite. Doorman was a jerk and wouldn’t let Vinny in b/c he didn’t have his drivers license just his gun permit which is a valid ct id, not valid in vegas however so he has to go back to the hotel (which is next door good thing) next thing u know I see Dave Navaro and he gets on the mic and says how much he loves vegas. This nite was def the most hammered I got all week, came home round 5.

Day 3 Wednesday

Woke up this morning with a huge hangover, got some espresso and something to eat then Vinny wanted to gamble a bit. Me having only 5 bucks on me since I thought we were just going to eat runs to the room grabs a hundred although I wanted to break it and play a little, so Vinny says just put the whole thing in and Im like fine. Wheel of Fortune here comes the spins! Hit it for 100, 300, 75, etc end up winning 550 bucks!! Never in my life have I won that much. Had to lay out but soon realized it was too windy and breezy so we went to the top of the fake Eiffel tower, it sucked. Then went back to the room took a nap, however Vinny was still not feelin good so he slept all nite while I went downstairs ate drank smoked a cigar and gambled.

Day 4 Thursday

Once again up at 830 and then to the breakfast buffet. Today we laid out then went to the Mirage and saw the lions and tigers then went to downtown Vegas the freemont st experience, def a waste of time (heard its better at nite) got shocked by one of those trick gums in a store and screamed my head off My God did it hurt! Then went into a b-rate stuck in the 80s strip club which we quickly left. Then we went to the top of the stratosphere which was awesome, excellent views def better than the fake Eiffel tower! We were supposed to go to Tao that nite but fell asleep due to exhausation.

Day 5 Friday

Woke up nice and early and packed our bags, checked out and with 12 hours to kill (our flight was at midnight which I will never do again) we head out to Imperial Palace to check out the classic cars and then head to the fashion show mall, then ate and then went to NY NY, MGM, Luxor for a day of gambling. Exhausted we head back to Bellagio grab our bags and head to the airport where Vinny is still not done gambling as he plays slot machines till we board lol all in all a good trip.

Great TR! How would you rate the Bellagio as a hotel compared to others in Vegas? Looks too rich for my budget!

by far the best one in Vegas!! I would rate the hotels as bellagio, wynn, venetian, cesears, mgm. it def is too rich for my budget but somehow I got an awesome deal maybe b/c it was m-f the times of the flights dead season for vegas, cost me 900 for air, hotel and taxes, i told people this and they were shocked

ri gal def def not!!!! i would have gone on the one at ny ny which wasnt too bad but my friend would not go but the ones on the stratosphere u couldnt pay me to go on
