|  Am I in a Time Warp or did we Spring Forward, Fall Back during the night? My Cablemas digital box says it is now 7:22 but the Channel Guide has 8:20. My Smart Phone, set for Mexico City, remains at 8:20 am also. Weather Station show 8 something but I am getting 3 different times from Cablemas alone. What's up?? Looks like I will be right on time for church or an hour early. Bring a book, T.J.

| Looks like this will happen next weekend, according to: Clock changes in year 2010 for Mexico – Federal District – Mexico City Much ado about nothing except my Cablemenos box presumably.

| Long short of it (probably) is.. the cablemas boxes are old, obsolete (recycled from US cable companies years and years ago I suspect) and were made before the change to daylight savings time that happened in 2007... before then we (in the US, where the boxes are programmed for) would fall back around this time in October.. but now we don't fall until November... I'm sure all of those things can be updated fairly easily with a "burst" update to the boxes, but it wouldn't be Mexico if those sorts of things were thought of and fixed before wide spread distribution... not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if the cable box clock is your primary time piece it can be problematic, and the on screen guide will be off as well... I also wouldn't order any on demand stuff for fear that it wouldn't work right until they re-sync the clocks... my bet is they just let it be wrong until the change does happen rather than actually trying to correct the problem... but we'll see...
