| Drank this wine the other day and it was beyond incredible. $336 or so at La Europea. Went back to get more and there was none. The shelf where it was located had changed completely. I felt like I was in The Twilight Zone or that La Europea was punking me, but it was neither. To make it worse, I cannot remember the exact name but it started with F, had only 5 or 6 letters, white label. Something like Fiori, Fioni, Fionte - I am drawing a total blank and the clerk was of no help with my ingorance. Folks, this is why we have cameras in our cell phones; so we don't forget important things like this. And I am even sure it was a 2006 and of course Argentinian. Does anyone have a clue on this brand? Thanks to all,

| Tracey, Thanks. Yes I tried Cumbres without success. BUT THE STORY HAS A HAPPY ENDING AND THE CASE IS CLOSED. The wine, don't ask me where I got the "F" as part of the name, is SOTTANO. The gal who sold it to me last week was there and remembered me. She also recommended a $69 bottle of Malbec, about 1/6 the price of the Sottano and said she thought the taste was nearly the same. I got a bottle of each and will have a wine tasting for myself. That one is called Las Moras which my host served the other night. It was good but my focus was more on the Roast Duck, potatoes fried in Duck Fat, and Home Made Flat Bread, and the company. Thanks to all who also contacted me privately. Special Wine Drinking Occasion - You won't go wrong with the SOLTANO.

| T.J., now that you've discovered the "Las Moras" brand, let me suggest you also try their better lines of wines, the reserves, available at Costco (with the best prices I've seen). You could start with the Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah blend (2008), at 99 pesos, while you're in this experimental mode! |

| V, I cannot imagine a wine better than one of $69, but will try the version too. LOL and Thanks But let me tell you, the Sottano Malbec absolutely rocks.

| T.J. I discovered Malbec a few years ago and it is now my favorite grape!! Soriana (on Kabah) sells one in particular, that I love. The brand is "La Linda"...around 100 pesos...it is one of my favorites! Enjoy!! |

| We just got back from Argentina and did our best to try every Malbec we could. Also tried to drain Chile of their Cabernet Sauvignons. Will have to try your Sottano Malbec. Cheers!

| Picked up a Norton today at Costco $229 and a La Linda at Chedraui for $139. Kris, I hope I did not screw up by not going across the street to Soriana. Now I am curious to see if the price is up or if I made a bad deal. Will report in on the taste test, when I get around to it. Thanks for the public and private suggestions. AGAIN I say, Sottano rocks big time. Up the price chain notch or so but for a nice Malbec, it has my recommendation. Think I will go to La Europea for another bottle of that. Would this count as a Trifecta?
