Default House Insurance

Hey all,

I've just bought a house and I'm looking to get some insurance for the property. Does anyone know a good person to speak to and roughly what I'm going be paying?

Thanks in advance!

Mat

While I'm not sure what you will have to pay as it seems it's based on construction replacement costs, I know that we feel that the Senor Lobo who was recommended to us has done a great by us and we have stayed with him since the beginning (for us 2007).

We have both our homeowners and our car insurance with him. He speaks English, sends us e-mail reminders when our yearly premiums are due and accepts credit cards. The one time that we had a claim he was right there for us and everything was resolved in what I would call "US time"!

I have a small typical house in SM 27 and it is insured for almost everything for $4,824.31 m.n. per year through MAPFRE/TEPEYAC MEXICO.
