CFE - ELECTRIC

AGUAKAN - WATER

ZETA - GAS

The first two are total monopolies so there are no other options.

There is a Holbox Gas and Tomgas but I think Zeta, aka ZGas, is top dog.

I live alone. Have A/C, washer and dryer.

My water bill runs about $60 (pesos) per month.

Gas is by the tank and I average a tank a month at $218. I think that is right as the price keeps creeping up.

My electric is NEVER over $1,000 and that bill comes every two months. I run my a/c when I want to, day and night. I live in a 2BR, 1 Bath apt, on the second floor. Don't get a lot of sun/heat from above or below and the building is well shaded for the most part. My May bill was $501 and July was $346 but the meter was not running for about 15% of that billing cycle. (I did report it but it took them the better part of a month to get it "spinning" again. Not my fault. So that one, since it was brutally hot for a while, should maybe have been in the $500 range too.

There are gas trucks running around all the time but i choose to take my tank and get it refilled while I wait. Otherwise, they take your tank and bring it back later when you may or may not be here, or they swap it for one on the truck which may or may not be a crappy, leaking, rusted tank, or it may not be as good as the one you own. The trucks running around do NOT refill your tank from the truck unless you have a huge, huge tank. I have 2, twenty kg tanks so when one is empty, I hook up the other one and go refill the empty. You can buy a half way decent tank for about $500 or less.

Hope this helps.
