|  Yachilan avenues are there really trannies everywhere? I have recently read some other sites/reviews on Cancun and they all seem to indicate that Yachilan is full of "lady-boys". Maybe I am simply blind or ignorant but, in all my years of living there and going to Yachilan I never saw any prostitution, transvestites etc. Was I really blind or is there just bad information out there?

| It was for a while but they've been moved on now. I'm not sure where all the lady boys went to (not really my thing), but I guess you can search the Cancun classifieds or something johndish and probably find what you're searching for. |

| I haven't been there lately, but they're not usually "everywhere". They mainly hang out on one end, near the end of Yaxchilan where it meets Avenida Uxmal. It's also usually not until later that they show up on the street... maybe after 11 or 12 at night?? There are a few tranny bars down that way, and the shows are hysterical. And they're pretty hot, too. Seriously, they have amazing legs. |

| Mat, I am not looking for them but, could not believe the various comments that I saw regarding them and I always thought that Yachilan was really tame. Most of my time was spent at La Taberna and to the right when you walk out of Lataberna. Whenever I come back I always eat someplace on Yachilan (love pescadito's) and have simply never seen that activity.

| A couple years back we saw them coming out of a place called Erectus, which was right across the street from Hotel Alux.... And your right Gringation they do have nice legs......  Oh I found a pic.  |

| johndish: They're not near La Taberna, you'll only find them a few blocks further down, at the end of the street. Yaxchilan is still pretty tame... even the she-males aren't too wild. Just hanging out, looking pretty. :P |

| John, I had asked Doug about this, as for about a year or so, the hot trannies have not been hanging out where they used to. This was pretty much across the street from La Taberna, on the Uxmal side of La Placita, to the retorno. He said that a couple of business owners in that immediate area asked for, and got, police help in removing them from the area. I did see a car load of them driving down one of the side streets the other day, mid afternoon. One of our (mine & yours) mutual friends used to get a kick out of riding by and yelling "show us your balls." That was before WE cleaned up our act. I am sure you cleaned up yours too.
