A bit of female help please

A lady friend is going be visiting Cancun soon for a bit of an extended trip.

She asked if I could help her find Tampax tampons in more than the small packages, like the giant economy size box I presume.

I looked at Costco and Mega while there yesteday and no luck. It seems pads are the big hit here.

Suggestions welcome. Don't suggest just bringing a box from the US as luggage is already going to be packed to the hilt.

I've seen larger boxes at Sams Club, on the same shelves as the pads. Can't remember if they were Tampax brand, though.

They might have limited availability as tampons aren't popular here, but they do sell them. (Just confirmed with a female coworker that she has also seen them at Sams)

FYI, Sam's Club only has 10 pks of Kotex in Regular and Extra, for $52.50 or so.

Maybe will try Superama if I get near one next week.

I don't know that I've ever seen Tampax in mass quantities. Why not just get many smaller? Or order from Amazon.com (they reportedly deliver...)

Kathy - A box of 40 of most any product, would not be anywhere near 4 x the cost of a convenient 10 pk, so it is a question of price per unit, not just buying more pkgs. I don't think Amazon would be the answer either for a number of reasons.

Zina - Will check out Farm Paris next time I get to Av. Yax. I am about over this project. Some lady friends were asking me last night how many this person could possibly use during a cycle and is the possible savings worth this effort. Very good questions.

I give up. They simply don't exist here. Farmacia Paris was my last try and they only had the boxes of ten.

Tropics - Mailing makes no sense, due to cost and uncertainty of actually be received. As a friend I have done all I can do.

Ok, one more thing you can do is introduce her to the Diva cup. It is much easier on the earth and the individual. I can't believe I got almost to menopause before I discovered it. Really, it is So Much Easier than anything else out there. And then she doesn't need to bring anything but the cup with her.

As per my posts, I was doing a favor for a friend and per my last post, I AM DONE, I GIVE UP OR WHATEVER.

I am not in the mood to try to give any lady recommendations on any type of feminine product. Eet is not my job, mon.
