| For some people at least. Correct information but somewhat tongue in cheek. Under the assumption that we are all easier to get along with when we "get some" on a regular basis, I post the following information from today's Novedades. 1.- Pfizer's patent on the little blue pill will expire early next year. Viagra Patent Expires, Goes Generic | What Will Happen To Viagra. (They do not mention the following in the article: Article > Pfizer wins Viagra patent case against Teva ) But then maybe that patent protection is only for the U.S. as they have already lost it in other internatinal venues. 2.- Based on point #1 being correct, WalMart will exclusively start offering the generic brand of Sildenafil through the MediMart drug centers in WalMart, Bodega Aurrerá, Superama and Sam's Club stated the Asst. Manager of the infamous Xcaret Ave. branch of Walmart. 3.- Price will be about 60% less than the current cost of Viagra. There will be 2 options: a.- a package of 2 pills for $96 pesos and b.- a package of 4 pills for $196 (?) pesos (I don't know how much it currently costs. Anyone out there want to fess up? Or who maybe knows because a "friend" told them?) Last edited by Jim in Cancun; 09-05-2011 at 07:54 AM. |

| That's still a rip-off, at about $4.00 a pill. You can buy generic viagra from a Canadian discount pharmacy, for about $1.00-$1.20 per pill. Oh...How do I know this? A quick glance at my SPAM folder will tell the story.
