|  I can do the 9th no problem. I am pretty much a regular at La Taberna but if there is a futbol game it will be packed and loud at both locations, not conducive to conversations. I really don't have a better location in mind but maybe that new Flavour's on Uxmal, west of Nader? They would make up some special menu items if we gave them some notice. It was not busy at all the time I tried it. And the owner was very attentive, yet still trying to find their niche market. But why can't the smokers go outside to smoke, rather than the non smokers sitting there with them and the 2nd hand smoke. Sounds like Canuck would be on this page too.

| 4 days away, we need to make a decision on venue. Let's go with La Taberna on Andres Quintana Roo for this one, we can try other places in the future. After all, we should really try to do these meet ups more regularly than once or twice a year. Let's aim for 8:30pm. Jannet and I will both be going, we might bring my Mum along (she's on vacation here at the moment) if we can get a babysitter. Trina / Bundy you guys coming too ? Rawkus how about you, I've not met you yet. |

| Yes it did, we had a good turnout with around 20 people at its peak. We were out on the open air patio area... the group that was looking distinctly non Mexican. Sorry we missed you Many of us agreed that we should do this more often so maybe in a month or two we'll run another. Thanks everyone for coming. |

| We need to this more often. After a year and a half in Cancun, it was great to finally meet the people that were there and talk about life in Mexico.
