|  Safe in Mexico for tourists We just got back from three weeks travel in Mexico- central Mexico and Quintana Roo and we felt amazingly safe! Never a moment of anxiety anywhere! We were traveling with my sister and her husband- both of who had been roundly warned by their friends about travel in Mexico They had a wonderful time and remarked on how utterly relaxed they had felt the whole time but they said many people were staying home because of exaggerated report of risks to tourists that circulated in "back home" |

| Hi, Tracey, we went to Mexico City, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Queretaro, Chetumal, Lake Bacalar, Tulum and Cancun, of course! Today we go to Isla Contoy. We walked the streets at each and every place, used public transport for the entire time in Central Mexico, and never felt the least threat from anyone, in any circumstance. My sister traveled with us on the tour of Quintana Roo, and she remarked how safe it felt everywhere. |
