Didn't I hear that it's changing on a different day in Mexico this year than in the US? And so the airline schedules are going to be a screwed up? I hate that Spring forward thing, I already don't get enough sleep...

I looked online, mexico, including cancun, change their clocks in april as karan stated!

WELL, THAT'S JUST GREAT. I CALLED SPIRIT A WEEK AGO TO FIND OUT WHY MY RETURN TRIP TO THE US TOOK AN EXTRA HOUR. AFTER GETTING A BIT OF A RUNAROUND A SUPERVISOR TOLD ME THAT THE SCHEDULE WAS WRONG AND THAT ALL PASSENGERS WOULD BE NOTIFIED OF THE CORRECT TIME.

OF COURE I HAVE HEARD NOTHING. I GUESS I WILL JUST HAVE TO ASK SOMEONE WHAT TIME IT IS AND TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT ON THE DAY I LEAVE.

AND THEN, I RETURN HERE ON MARCH 28 SO I GUESS I WILL BE ARRIVING 2 HOURS DIFFERENT THAN THE USUAL ONE.

AND THEN, I PICK UP A FRIEND AT 10:30 AM TOMORROW WHICH SEEMED EARLIER THAN THE USUAL ARRIVALS FROM FLL. GO FIGURE.

DON'T THEY KNOW IN MEXICO THAT THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND THE U.S.A.?

I AM SOOOOOOO CONFUSED.

Relax, TJ, yes, you have changed time, at least it is what my computer told me (it is always at Cancun time and makes the change automatically). I noticed all of a sudden that we were only 6 hours ahead of you...errr... unless of course, we got behind

Who knows why Mexico wants to distinguish from other countries.

TJ, please, no all the world doesn't revolve around the USA, only the USA does

You disappoint me :wink: Well, seriously, it is easier for everyone when they change at the same date.

My computer is set for Cancun and the clock changed automatically, but the time has not changed!!!!!!! And the airline schedules are whacked now.

EB,

Airlines list all times in what the call local time. So when you depart, you are departing at the local time and the same goes for arrival time, even if you change time zones.

For example, if you are in the eastern time zone and your departure time is 10:00 am, if you are flying to a destination in the central time zone, and the flight is one hour in duration, then the arrival time, being the local time, would also be 10:00 am.

The specific answer to your question is NO. If you are scheduled to arrive at 9:00 am, then that does not change because the time does. It is already factored into the deal.
