| It had to happen. On November 1st a fish and chip shop will open at a new plaza being built on the corner of Nichupte and Kabah. A friend of mine told me yesterday -he was so surprised he stopped and spoke to the owner who confirmed it will be based on the traditional British style. Sure enough we went past today and the sign is already up. I wonder if they'll have battered sausages, mushy peas, pineapple fritters, curry sauce and gravy. I'll be providing a full review of the whole menu about 40 minutes after it opens. |

| I've been a few times now and they're pretty good - probably more expensive than in the UK (although it's so long since I've been there I have no idea of prices). Fish&Chips are 85 pesos. They have malt vinegar. The owner is from Mexico City and I think he got the idea from both the UK and US-style Irish pub food. |
