| at the club entrance/exit cabs can get costly, ya find out about the time you get to the bus stop a hungry cabby will qoute a decent rate back to the resort. about 5 to 10 or we take the bus. we have had very few bus trips since a decent rate beats the crap out of nothing.

| You just reminded me of the worst bus trip ever! About 13 years ago I was in Cancun and I caught the bus from the hotel zone to a hotel i was staying at but the bus wouldn't stop so I figured it would come back. After driving about 45 minutes down dozens of short roads he pulled over in a dirt lot and told me to get off as he is done for the night. As someone who doesn't speak spanish that was pretty scary. Luckily someone at that stop said in half an hour he is heading back to town. So I sat in the dirt with them and waited. That was a scary part of town. This year I will make sure they stop when i need off.

| Two cans of beer, unless you ask housekeeping and nice tip never hurts. |

| That is affirmative. Seemed sort of strange to me having read this forum before I left to go there. |

| We were there from Tuesday Feb 23-Tuesday March 2. There was dancing every night after the shows, as well as after lingerie night. Some evenings Nice Shoes emptied out for a bit, but it usually picked back up a short time later. It was pretty chilly some nights, so it was nice to be able to dance indoors and go outside to cool off. |

| Thanks everybody for the great info on this thread, the bus certainly seems like the entertaining way to return to the hotel!! Just a thought, the fare is being quoyed as $1, can we pay in USD, or is it the equivalent in Pesos? Cheers Pete & Julie |

| Just got back Wed. The bus is 7 1/2 Pesos.(75 cents roughly) Yes they take USD. They won't take US coins though. I just give them a buck, tell them to keep the change, tell them where you want to get off & they will make sure you don't miss your stop. Hope this helps |

| I've heard from quite a few people that buses run 24/7... But the girl at the resort said that sunday nights - they are less often. We learned this the hard way, left coco bongo quite late on a sunday night (monday morning) and there were no buses. We waited over an hour (sat at one stop, then walked for a bit & waited at the next stop). But like someone else said, once you're away from the clubs, you can get MUCH better prices from the cab drivers. Usually at the bars they wanted around $10 to take us back, by the time we were sick of walking & took a cab, he settled for 35 pesos.. which happened to be all the change we had left (thats a whole nother story...) After that, we never bothered trying to catch a bus, just made sure to keep enough cash for the cab ride. |

| We have been to cancun over 10 times and the clubs are def different than in the US. Very crowded and easy to get into a fight, we just stay at the resort. Temptation in Cabo has the late night hot tub that I wish Cancun had!
