Default Hot Tub at TTR Cancun

We asked this a few years ago, and now that the resort has changed we would like to ask it again.
Why is there no large outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi at TTR? In the past we heard stories of how unclean it is, but EVERY hotel and resort we go to has one except for here, whether it be adult or family oriented or just a Holiday Inn Express.
Is anyone else interested in one? Can we start an online petition to get one?

I am sure that management believes the crowd would get completely out of control (by their definition) in any sort of hot tub at TTR, but it sounds like a great idea to me!!! 200 drunks that may or may not be naked (which security obviously could not tell in a hot tub in the dark) kind of sounds like Desire to me, and also sounds like a good way to sell more rooms at TTR.

Sounds like more fun late at night than playing pool in the Alternative Bar on a $250 junk table.

As first timers I just assumed that there would be a hot tub. It was after we made and paid the reservation that I found out otherwise. To me it seems that a tub is standard in every resort hotel. Coming at the first of Feb. we could have a couple of cool days and a hot tub would be great. It is hard to believe that they don't have one.

Are the two areas that look like hot tubs in the pool any warmer than the rest of the pool?

The warmest area in the pool is the swim-up bar. There are people drinking there all day and amazingly never have to go to the bathroom.

To answer your question, no the "hot tubs" are not heated.

Default Room with jacuzi

we booked a room with a jacuzi and in the photos - it appears to be outside in front of our room - is my assumption correct.

If management could make the jetted tubs in the pools warm/hot, they could make a lot of people extremely happy. Maybe install a lip around the jacuzzi and some kind of device to make them warm, at least one or two.

We are going to TTR Cancun next week, but the hot tub at TTR Cabo made it a tough call. We find it hard to believe one is ok with it but not the other. It was packed every night.

it certainly made our decision to give cabo a try a lot easier - i mean a hot tub that stays open late at night with a bar at an ai...... on the roof top overlooking the sea of cortez..........

while t and i love the nightlife in cancun - a hot tub there would certainly make it much more inviting

Totally agree diamondhead. I was really surprised when I first saw the hot tub. Much larger area around it than anyone had mentioned. With the firepits and restrooms. Going down those steps late at night and drunk was fun!

How is the resort in Cabo compared to the one in Cancun. I have never had a complaint about Temp cancun other than no hot tub. We will be going back for our third trip on Dec. 17th and I am getting the cuervo fever already.

having never been to temptation los cabos - let me be the first to assure that i am an expert on the subject

now that we have that cleared up lol

i have been to cabo befoe (just not temptation) and from my experiences there the area has a totally different vibe than cancun. it is hard for words to describe the difference..............perhaps more laid back and about 0 humidity

i think from what i gather from all my research both places are a a lot of fun but here is how it breaks down from all i can tell

cancun seems to be a better location to go if you are looking to party 24/7

cabo looks like a better location if you are wanting more of a vacation (yet still be able to party 12/7)

t has never been to cabo and she has always wanted to go there (after hearing about all my fun sinlge years there in an out of the gigling marlin, el squid roe, and cabo wabo) and having been to blue bay/temptation (more thime than i can count) its time to try cabo out

this will be our first trip to tempation los cabos and we are looking forward to it................especially the roof top hot tub.............will be sure and do a big toast to cancun one night at midnight while we are there

We are only going to Cancun TTR in a few days because of flights. We prefer Cabo TTR. The hot tub they have is the greatest idea ever. I hate cold water, even cool. We never woke up and rushed own to save a chair there and there was always one open when we wanted one. You cant get in the beach water due to currents. We just put up some photos from Cabo in our albums. We will be going back soon.
